If you care about PvE as a warrior then human is the default choice.

If you care a lot about PvP as a warrior then gnome is the default choice.

5 weapon skill is not only more mitigation than 1% dodge but it is also increased damage meaning faster runs.

If not having 1% dodge is actually affecting your ability to survive than you have bigger problems.

Progression does not exist for good guilds on private servers. The content should be cleared in 1 or 2 nights on release. You should be more concerned about the length of your runs and how much damage each player can out-put.

Not all guilds try to speedrun content. If you're already clearing everything comfortably at a solid rate there's no need to waste other hours of your week grinding for flasks etc. unless you're in one of those 'wannabe server-first' hardcore guilds.

How the hell does defense affect crushing blows? From what I've read there seems to be a static 15% chance to get a crushing blow no matter what your defense level as long as the mob is 3 levels higher than you.

Defense affects your effective level. You have 315 defense, then you're treated like a level 63 when being hit. That's the basic jist of it anyway.

Level 35's can killed level 50's with the right gear. Level 45's can kill 60's.

Some classes can win 1v2's, or even 1v3's. The nature of vanilla is that it blends a sandbox PvP world with instanced based content. Policing what is and is not allowed in the world is completely counter to the fundamental design of the game.

If 60's are ganking lowbie zones than it is expected for you to gather forces and work together to deal with the problem. Every situation can be answered with a solution. Just because you're too big a whiny bitch baby to actually make friends and ask for help doesn't mean the game should be altered to disallow anything and everything that you don't deem absolutely 100% balanced.

If that was the case than PvP wouldn't exist. Nothing in PvP is balanced. Every single duel is decided by rock paper scissors, latency, and gear. "Skill" is dead last on the list of priorities that dictate who wins an encounter.

If you don't like it don't play the game. People have been playing vanilla private servers for 8 years. This isn't a new game. Criticism is pointless. Everything about the game is known before going into it. There are absolutely no surprises and yet you still manage to come out crying when everyone warned you about what you signed up for.
