Now, this would not only stop forcing players to play heroes they do not enjoy playing just so they can win, but also end this "counter" meme that forces everyone to play heroes with the least amount of "counter"s.

You love playing Reinhardt but you rarely get to play him aggresively? Swap your 2000HP shield with a 1000HP shield for an only 4 second cooldown firestrike.
You love playing Pharah but there is always a hitscan on the enemy team? Swap your consussive blast with sideways air dash.
You love playing Junkrat but you like to actually aim instead of spamming? Swap his grenade launcher with a faster projectile but lower magazine launcher. Also choose whether if you want 2 traps and 0 mines or 2 mines or 0 traps at the same time.

This. Blizzard is balls at balancing and as long as every hero has even a minute amount of viability at the highest skill level I'm fine with it.

I played FPS on console (mainly MW and BO) for years before picking up OW on PC. The lack of aim assist really fucked me up for a while before I learned to aim (which is by nature much easier with a mouse).

Was Reyes always an ass hole?

In Winston's graduation photo he is standing off to the side like he doesn't want to be there. He probably called Winston a monkey before he even became reaper.


On route 66 Soldier 76 mentions that "Reyes should have cleaned up the deadlock gang a long time ago". Yet he hasn't.

And his reaction to surviving an explosion (which he was partly responsible for) is to begin hunting down all overwatch agents. Most of them probably never even did anything to him.


He is shown being friendly in the halloween comic. But outside of that it seems like he is an ass hole who hated his co-workers and didn't do his job well enough.

Reyes was always competent and did his job well, remember Overwatch quelled the omnic crisis under his leadership, and then fell into ruin under Jack's leadership

He obviously did get on with everyone at some point given the photograph seen in old soldiers but over time got more and more pissed that he got passed up for the leader position despite already being leader during the crisis (And a more senior soldier than 76) and THEN seeing the organisation fall to shit under the guy they snubbed you for's control.


Hell I'd be pissed too. We just don't know exactly what happened in the "explosion" or why he's hunting down ex-overwatch agents

Winston's father died when he was young and at the hands of the only other intellegiant gorillas, the only other people he could relate to. This also forced him to leave his moon home and join overwatch. Which ended within years of him joining.

Going back to TF2 the Medic really can't help even a Heavy sustain that much damage without full overheal or uber.

It also helps that, that game has a lot more splash damage.
