Yeah, unfortunately I didn't discover that version until after. Then I didn't want to start over.

Though after I got the summoning pass thing I got so annoyed with having to save after every fight that I discovered a way to convert your save to be compatible, basically had to replace some of the scripts while the game was running, then save, and it made one compatible with the new version, so I was able to finish up leazas castle on the proper version after having played all the game up to thatp oint on the old one.

I lost count of how many times I beat Sengoku, probably over 20 times now. I even deleted a save folder to do the "clear everything in 4 playthough" challenge. The 2 or 3 latest runs were all 5SNB runs which I tried different ways to beat the game.

Knowing the events let me experiment different outcomes. If you're only interested in the story, then finishing 4 routes would be enough. The things why I find why SR is addicting are the variety of outcomes (depend heavily on what action you were taking now) and the challenge of highest difficulty run, like 5SNB conquering run only, beat Orochi, capture all Youkai girls, get 6 great treasures, etc ...in one run.
For me, the hardest thing would be triggering the Takeda bonus in 5SNB. It's only possible to defend their blitz after you have strong enough commanders, but take too long to wait them join other houses.
