Thats a part of its appeal. I hate to use the meme but they are extremely comfy games. You get nice nostalgic Akira Toriyama character designs, good orchestral music, funny and non-threatening looking monsters.

They just don't make JRPG's like that anymore. If you grew up playing Chrono trigger and Stuff like that then DQ is up your alley.

Did you open eShop after downloading it? eShop will often "fix" your DLC content by deleting the ones you don't have on your NNID.

freeShop will show DLC as installed even if it's only partial. So you will have to delete the DLC and reinstall it. *shrug*

The freeshop ones are okay. The only thing they took out was the ages in the characters' profiles. They also use Japanese voices too. Senran Kagura 2 Deep Crimson crashes if you have the clock enabled though.

ayo guys, I dusted off my wii since I finally got time to play that rodea game everyone already forgot about but it appears the mod I had is outdated and it won't play it
where do I go to figure out how to re-mod an old wii?

also, in my years of wii ownership I never got around to buying a classic controller, just got by with wiimote and GC controller whenever possible. Is there a mod yet that lets you use GC contoller in games that normally take classic, like in monster hunter tri for example.
