Gear improvement and resource management is an important part of the design of any MMO. Permanent risks make decisions more interesting and impactful. I don't think it's a problem at all, especially since it's so easy to bypass with a protection ticket.

If you are new to /dfog/ you should know that I've only been playing DFOG for a month now. So far, my main goals were to level all the classes that interest me, the level up events helped with that decision. During the downtime I read up on things like my classes, it was there when I first learnt of the legend. The Legendary Light Sword Masamune. I'm having fun honestly although sometimes I get lonely during long periods of play. I can't believe it took me so long to find out such an awesome game. I love the lore, the music, the gameplay, everything.


/dfog/ has been very helpful when about pretty much everything and very mean whenever I bring up a certain powerful sword, but I don't think all of them are meanies. However, Roco... I'll kill him for what he has done. I promise before I leave this world that I will face Roco in battle. With or without the LLSM. But hey, even now you are teaching me stuff I didn't know. I guess alot of you enjoy teaching.
