I'm recently trying out the ps3 version. Playing the demo so far but its such a different feel than typical Diablo on the PC. Feels almost Gauntlet like which is not too bad.

I dont know what I'm doing wrong though but I'm repeatedly dying in almost the blink of an eye on hard. When I was level 4 in the catacombs the bats and grotesque leeches fucked me up and now I'm 7 in the hollow area and scavengers rip me to shreds even if I try to evade and kite. I'm mainly magic missile and arcane orb seems the ps3 version can't let me put orb and ray of frost so I can switch on the fly when I need slows.

What the fuck am I doing wrong excepting a serious case of git gud?

Also is there a bug with summons not taking damage? i have never had a single one of my zombie dogs die in my entire 50 levels of having torment 2 enemies fucking wail on them, including bosses.

And are there many more cool legendary mojos? Right now I have this fucking level 19 one that I keep on because allowing spirit barrage to have 2 fucking glyphs active at once is amazing, especially when one is a 720% damage aoe.

Yes, its very fun but also a real fucking slog at first.

Probably the fairest F2P game outside of the ones you cant compete with like Dota 2.

Economy is fantastic and fucking genius, its all based off of consumables, no gold exists. Rather fantastic visuals.

Issue is, its slow as FUCK at first, your character just moves and attacks slow, worse than D2 starting off. You do(can) turn into crazy shit later.

Worse itemization than D2, but better than D3. Uniques are not end all be all like D2(sadly) but offer new ways to play, very few unique are end all be all and are the hardest to get.(like some boots that have a small chance to drop off the hardest map in the game and getting access to that hardest map each time is very time consuming)

End Game involves "Maps" in which you put together map pieces to create 1 map or use 1 map piece to create 1 map. They add effects, monsters, buffs, debuffs, more drops, less, and all have a boss.

Its skill system is pretty much exactly like FF7 Materia System and has a huge grid you use to dictate what you level up.

Its great, but tough to get into at first, and a slog at first, but very great by the end. You 100% need to look up a build before playing.

Learning the Economy is much harder than D2 as well.

Leveling is boring as shit and just like D3 there's no real "challenge" until the very upper tiers of content where boss health shoots through the roof and things 1 shot you. Maps drop like candy now so your end game pool is no longer annoying to keep up.

Just don't fall too hard for the YOU CAN DO ANYTHING that people push, there's of course a meta and if you follow it you can throw together some pretty mediocre gear and face roll 99% of the content at twice the speed of other builds.

So playing for the first time(bought in sale). My very first legendary dropped at lvl 13. It was "Heart of Iron" for my crusader with that awesome 295% of Vitality(max is 300%) is Thorns. Its amazing, enemies hit me and die near instantly. Apparently it's rare aswell and ) for crusaders due to its unique traits.

A buddy of mine starting screaming into his mic when I told him and he said he's been grinding and spending shards for that for over 4 months and never seen it drop and I got it from the Act 1 Event "Matriarchs Bones" and then at lvl 23 I got Aquillas Cuirass from a random skeleton another much wanted one apparently according to Icyveins. I've only just started Act 2 and I'm lvl 41 playing on Hard. My autism made me collect all the lore books. I'll do the same with Act 2. At this rate I'll be level 70 by Act III! I chose seasonal because I was told it all carries over when the season ends and becomes non seasonal character and I've already done 3 objectives for chapter 2 despite still being on Chapter 1's objectives for the season. I like how there is 12 character slots aswell 1 for each class/sex combo. Though I love my Male crusader. Those Blessed Hammers with Limitless Rune are sexy as fuck just spam that and combined with my sexy legend chest armour and everything dies. I've been told I should up the difficulty as the fact I've killed every treasure goblin(11) I've come across within 15 seconds and not died yet is an indicator that my gear is too powerful for Hard mode.

I'm hooked. Fun stuff.
Also got both Book of Cain and Book of Tyrael for just £30 brand new. It would have cost me over £88 if I went with Amazon rather than Ebay. Book of Cain arrived yesterday so been reading that inbetween sessions. Gorgeous art and interesting perspectives.

Cant speak for warframe but PoE is what D3 should have been. What it was, was a massive letdown beginning with a RMT auction house and then an everyone gets gear type loot system, which gets very boring when all you need is ancient versions of specific items because there's a few fotm builds that are basically the only ones worth playing, and yeah. Picked up D3 for $20, enjoying it but have the feeling I'm so lost that I don't even know how much I don't know. Most of this thread might've well been written in Sanskrit.

I'm playing a Crusader, about L40 now, bumped to Hard difficulty when most everything was dying from 1 hit, most things still shatter and I've not come close to dying yet (now and then I see the health globe slightly dip below completely full). So many items give health per hit, and health regen. Guess I need to up the diff again?

Can my helpers die? I've no idea, can their health be shown?

For these "per hit" items, if I use the power that makes my crusader hit a wide arc in front of him, does each of those hits count or is a "hit" a single swing? Think I have 9k hit points and a weapon that gives 1200 hp per hit, if its counting each hit in an arc then yeah they guy is healing half his health every second or so.

There was a power that let you use 2-handed weapons with one hand, but at a 20% damage reduction. Isn't it almost always going to be worth it when 2-handed weapons seem so much more powerful (usually well over +20%) than single-handers?

Running a demon hunter. What should I look out for?

Only level 47 right now. Running a Valla's Bewquest, makes strafe pierce, running strafe with the Stinging Steel rune for piercing crits. A Hellcat Waistguard for that juicy chance for a grenade to bounce four times that deals 50% more damage per bounce and 800% on final bounce with the Cluster Grenades rune because it drops clusternades each bounce.

Damage is high enough with made AOE and I've got enough hatred gain/regen to use strafe consistantly with Vault using the Tumble Rune with Tactical Advantage for the speed boost and reduces discipline cost on second Vault. Running the Bat Companion with Archery for that juicy but tiny increase to hatred regen to keep my Strafe up longer.

Using Grenadier as my third passive for that little bit more damages on nades.

Any tips/info I need to look out for? Running on Seasonal Hardcore Master difficulty because why not.

How does augmenting work? Do I pick the highest leveled gem possible, or do I stick with 50s? Does it add up if you augment an item more than once, or does it overwrite it? Really don't feel like leveling gems more than 50.

You throw in the cube the ancient item you want to augment, 3x flawless royal gems depending on the stat you want to add to the item (topaz for int, ruby for str etc) and a legendary gem.
The level of the gem determines how much of a stat you will add. The amount of stat you add is (gem lvl)*5. For example a lvl 50 gem with let's say 3 emeralds will add 250 dex.

Here's what you do fuqboi. Season journey for free set > a shit ton of t7 bounties for mats/legos/plans/ > rift grinding for legos/death breahts/grift keys/blood shards. Use shards to get set items and off pieces (not weapons), and use the upgrade rare item cube recipe to get missing set items/legos. One you do all that shit and have a decent set and build (you look on icy-veins), you start pushing solo/party grifts and finish your whole season journey for the rewards.

Free set from the first parts of season journey will allow you to handle T6-T7 relatively easily, and the next threshold for bounty materials is TX
