She's a fun bote. If you've played other BBs you basically know the drill, your armor is great when it's angled, and your main battery is pretty accurate as far as the T6 12 gun BBs go. Just make sure you don't sit around and dawdle behind the frontlines if you can avoid it, she's pretty sluggish so you have to make sure you're keeping up so you don't end up being irrelevant.

The main thing people seem to have trouble with when it comes to the Standard Type BBs in that part of the US line seems to be dealing with the fact that they're slow and don't have the best range, so it really depends a lot on if you're good at knowing where you're going to need to be on the map, and not wasting time taking extra long routes or chasing people to the edge of the map or something.
Honestly if you enjoyed the Fuso you'll probably enjoy her too, if you can keep yourself in a good position where you can be relevant, she really can take a beating and even against T8s her main battery can really nuke some health bars.

IJN is a solid line that does pretty much everything but AA well. Theyre stealthy, mobile, hard hitting, decently well armored, have botesluts, are great fire starters and thus can do great chip damage, and have decent range torpedoes.

Their only drawbacks are the laughable AA. Some might say the citadels are easier to hit, but having played to at least T8 in every line now theyre really not that much easier to hit than any of the other lines, IMO.

Why does the "gunboat" line get torp reloads before the regular IJN line? When does the regular line get it?

You'll need a 15 point captain with Concealment expert. I did sort of okay with her (a bit above average) with all the stealth modules, but if you fire your guns at the wrong time or a DD spots you, you're fucked.
