I was a very special case of a player reaching level 30 as I only played with Bots until level 25-27, then I tried Aram and loved it, and only then I went for the Rift at level 30 and stopped playing Aram. My first games I got paired with some crazy bad players that managed even to make me look like a living God.
I guess they had to be low level players that never gone to bots ever and gone to pve rift first time as I did too but I had the intermediate bots experience the very least.

I started bots until much later because I was actually afraid I would be a bad player in pve for the rest of my teams so I decided to get good first to not be a dead weight for anyone.

It's not enough to just win your lane. Start expanding your strength to the other lanes if you want to win the games. Especially top lane. The only fuck I give about top lane is if you give up first blood at 3 minutes like a retard, or if you get first bricked. You aren't wrong, however you can buy yourself that time because you still have Cannon Barrage and you're fucking disgusting at splitpushing. I'm a pretty strong advocate for Crit and Triforce GP, and Static Shiv is just an absolutely phenomenal item for everything that you do.

The dream goal is to just outpush the enemy, win or lose the lane, and just keep going until you've knocked down their top two towers. Send Cannon Barrage down bot to grab assists and to splitpush in two lanes at once, and farm up to T2 boots, Shiv, Triforce, Cloak of Agility. Then go teamfight and slaughter squishies with Powder Keg, or just blow up front line targets with Powder Keg. Remember that your biggest strength is pushing by far followed by getting a juicy hit on a barrel. You really don't want to be in a 5v5 fight, though there are still options for you in the huge battles. But 2v2's and 3v3's are absolutely great. 1v1's can be good, but many duelists will beat you there.
