I'm deleting every SINGLE onbe of you from my friends under rank 50 so you can't be carried any more, and imploring all other veteran players to do so until the following conditions are satisfied:

Thief's Revenge, at 170+ SPD, is 3.5x multiplier, self-healing 30% of the damage dealt.

Dash and Slash without a dagger equipped is 3.3x multiplier, with a dagger equipped is 3.7x multiplier. It's Wind element damage.

Each hit on TR can crit, so it's still potentially more damage than just dagger-boosted D&S on an element neutral enemy, but D&S will probably reliably hit harder with a good dagger, particularly if you have something like Air Knife that boosts Wind damage by 20%.

Now, I actually think FFXV was able to provide a lot of content, even if there was plenty filler. The diversity and variety of shit is kind of impressive. But FF7R isn't as ambitious as FF15. I think areas like this will be the same in design. Just throw away, one time only areas that you pass through during a story scene. It seems wasteful, but it just means it's a lot of pretty wallpaper instead of interactive gameplay.

Alright, so let's take this scene as an example. This looks plausible. It's an open area in a chase scene or something. Nothing but pretty wallpaper. But, it doesn't look too big, doesn't look too small. After you take out the trash, you run down a hallway into another battle arena.

BUT if this was a non-battle, non-throw away area where you got to enter buildings and talk to NPCs, this would probably be too small by itself. Though, I could see them using something this size in place of that picture.

I think this makes a lot of sense. Instead of a large, dedicated town area, it's a number of interconnected, smaller hubs with NPCs, activities, and exploration.
