Not really, it's more that if the Daria player draws the nuts (playing Daria and Levi by 5 into another Daria and spell boost followers), it's game no matter what you do or play as nothing can really contest that on 5.

You get a bunch of free packs, I'm not really sure how much atm but it's like 15 for starting. Then you get 7 arena tickets (at least a pack plus gold depending on how well you do for each run) for beating each of the story modes, then you get 1.4k gold from beating each of the ai on (14 packs there), then you can do the play 20 private games (don't have to win just have to complete without conceding) to get another 2k gold (20 packs there). Then you get achievement gold and mission gold for ranked, plus login bonus and missions give you a ton of packs.

You get so much as a new player you should have enough for 1 or 2 top tier decks at least.

Yeah you are completely right! (Don't tell anyone in the thread but I played HS from the beginning up until 3 months ago. The pure RNG of that game simply killed my soul. I am never going back.) This game seems really unique and doesn't seem to hold punches with the cards they feel really powerful and fun experiment with. Obviously I don't want to netdeck right now. I am going to continue playing through the story, learn the classes and see how far I can get before copying anybody.

I also have 2 small questions: Since I was lucky enough to get a seraph should I be crafting the other 2? Is that how people do it in this game? You wait for an opening to ease into the deck? (Obviously if you don't have too much money to spend.)

Secondly, if I start putting down money, what should I buy with it? The bundles? People recommended the forest one only saying that the others were quite bad. Also buying the daily deal with 50 crystals seems to be the only financially sound investment you can make which I find weird. What packs should I be buying anyway?

I would only craft 1 more and run a deck there are some builds with 3 because of techings, is all about personal preference desu

Buying prebuilts kind of depends on what legendaries you already have and are just trying to fill in the gaps. I pulled 3 darias and had little to no staple rune cards for the deck so I bought the rune prebuilt to make dshift and tempo rune.

Unless you already really want those special alt art cards, portraits and card backs.

Standard packs are the best in the beginning most of the played cards are in there. Arena is worth it if u can average 3-4 wins and you'll learn about the cards.

Seraph i've seen most lists with only 2 so maybe 1 but I'd wait till you got alll free packs and then craft.

I played this a lot and did well in A, but started doing bad when people started expecting Seraph more.

When it goes, it goes well. Relies on aggressive play to open up Seraph window. But ultimately I lost more games than I would like because I didn't draw Seraph.

Pre-built decks are probably the best forest one is the best since it gives you all the staple cards, but shadow and blood are really good as well. I think sword is pretty good too.

The packs depends on what deck you want, I would suggest pulling expansions and if you do buy the pre-built decks I would suggest going with bahamut cards since you get a lot of important DE from the pre-built decks anyway. The reason for expansion packs is because they will give you standard card pack tickets a lot, and that is the only pack they give you for arena and you get them twice for your login bonus every 15 day cycle. So standard is good, but you do constantly get standard card pack tickets.
