Also, castlecades can be used like barbed wire, if the enemy is too lazy or too afraid to take his time and remove them, then he'd be forced to walk right into your ambush (like a long corridor), in other words you can use castlecades to limit enemy movement and make them walk into your ambush or make them announce their presence

TLDR play castle smart and you'll fuck the enemies up, but low IQ coppers can't figure this out

Every glitch from 1 was present in 2 and for a free bonus they added more, the AI spawns were worse somehow, sprint, action movie plot line is even worse. I cannot stress how much worse T Hunt is in 2 compared to 1 and only 2 player coop for the campaign. Vegas 2 was advertised as part prequel, part sequel. The part where Gabe fucks up the hostage mission with Bishop took place years before Vegas 1 started.

After that, the whole Vegas story begins with Bishop, Mike, and Jung in Las Vegas while Logan was in Mexico with Gabe and Kan. Eventually Mike and Jung are transferred to Logan, which was Vegas 1. Whenever I use the ACOG as an attacker it feels like I turn into a slow moving pixel hunting snipe game which I'm not particularly good at.

I've used shotguns quite a bit, and here's my tips:

You should only expect a one-shot kill if you can get the target to fill up your entire sight (Hipfire circle, or most of the sight picture from your optic of choice)
If there's anything else in the way, or there's open space, chances are some pellets will hit the obstruction or miss completely.

Following from this, you should never "hard peek" someone unless you know you can ensure a one-shot-kill, since pumps have shit firerate, and the autos have really shit recoil, meaning that several shots are always a gamble even if you get them off. If the first shot doesn't kill, you're liable to get popped in the head before you can finish them.

So, try to maximize situations where you can count on one-shots: flank, ambush, close range prefire, etc. If you know you can't count on the one-shot, either wait/reposition so that you can, or if that's not an option you can still try to deal chip damage with the spread by fast peeking, hipfiring, and getting back into cover instantly. Don't overdo that though, a smart player will just prefire you if you do it too predictably.

Communicating with teammates is very helpful for a shotgun user, since if you know that an enemy is damaged, you can count on your shotgun to kill them much more reliably. Finishing off low health enemies with very little aim required is that one thing shotguns do excel at.

One of my favourite things to do with kapkan traps is to put it in a spot the enemy must expose them-self to you to clear. For example if you're holding an angle across a doorway, putting it on the closest side to you will mean they have to walk into your firing line to clear it. It's kinda hard to set up as an initial play, but in the closing stages of a round you can get into a position to abuse this - people coming through the connector on the top floor of Kanal's white building is great for this.

Cav is the meme option, great for seal clubbing but against good teams it's hard to get alot out of her.
Echo is fun, I've really been trying to get gud with him but he's situational.
My best luck has been either pre placing the drone in an area where a gun battle is going to go down. Anywhere the enemy is going to try and fight out of. If you have comms, you can use it to follow and support your roamer.
Buck and BB are just killing ops, they don't bring alot to the team aside from killing dudes, so if you pick them, make sure you're merking cunts.
Capitao fun and great for flushing peeps out of the angles they want to hold.
Hibana is very useful, you can create some real meme angles to get at enemies through a few walls and a floor etc. or breach places without exposing yourself, like the top floor of favela. The other thing you can do is simultaneously breach 3 windows/barricades at once, which is really handy for assaulting a room if your team is potato or dead.
