Damn that cutscene at the end of part2 was sick, Greil Mercs are the coolest motherfuckers in FE history. Also those last couple chapters where you're fighting with an actual army against another huge army were pretty sick, I wish they would incorporate fodder units into playable armies in a future FE somehow.

Ok so I know we've all got a FEW things to speculate on, but let's talk about Fates. Again. Specifically, Azura. I always liked to toy with the idea of her being an antagonist.

>Aside from other sort of story fixes, Birthright and Conquest go on as before with Azura, ending with her disappearing at the end. Maybe remove the ability to S-rank her just as an extra for Revelation.

>In Revelation, Corrin decides to not choose a side, instead trying to figure out what exactly happened. Thinking back, Corrin questions who the mysterious forces were that triggered the bomb sword and attacked in Chapter 5 and goes to investigate, believing them to be a vital key to all of this.

>Azura is thrown off by this approach, and while she still follows she leads Corrin into traps/conflicts while trying to persuade them that the best choice is to forget Valla's forces and just pick a side. However Corrin gradually gains the favor of the different royals in spite of this.

>Azura, becoming desperate, orchestrates one final conflict to wipe them all out, and in the process is revealed for what she is. Valla's true nature is revealed and she retreats with them. The group then goes to find their way to Valla, maybe with Grandpa's help since he was there and found a way out.

>The group fight through, eventually confronting Azura as a chapter boss near the end. If you had her A-rank Corrin or something, she will be conflicted and can ultimately be talked down, at which point Anankos is fought. If she isn't, she joins him somehow and must be killed.

At least that's a basic idea.
