So in my haste to find FBI and my homebrew apps from system transferring over to my n3DS, I somehow came up with the grand plan of moving over my 3DS folder and Nintendo 3DS folder from the new untouched 3DS' initial micro SD, after I had went through the trouble of system transferring and moving all my data from the old SD card to the new SD card.

....I think I just remembered I should still have the original Nintendo 3DS and 3DS folders on my computer. Right now I'm restoring my system via hourglass 9 so as soon as that's over, I'm gonna salvage those folders.

Sometimes, it pays to rant and externalize your thoughts.

I'm going to make the jump tomorrow from one 3DS to another. I've got everything backed up with JKSM, but I was wondering - how do I reset the original 3DS to default settings? I don't want to get rid of the CFW or anything like that. What would a re-format do?

nvm i already found my answer. apparently bootmii will autoskip to the system menu if a certain folder and files isnt present on the sdcard and it can be started regardless of that through the hbc by holding a certain button combination even if it does not show up.

16GB is currently the current 2GB card, a staple if you need a bunch of them for something, because something requires an SD card and anything will do, 32's are 4GB, It'll hold a fair few apps, maybe a couple seasons of a TV show, but nothing to boast about. 64's are a 8GB card, more than enough for the average user, 128's are 16GB cards, if you have one in your Droid X you're a fucking madman, like, who's ever gonna use all that?

If you don't have Haxchi then you have to run Mocha via browser + HBL. This goes for every time you want to run a game with DLC or eShop game. You can pirate everything. I've linked my vita and qcma. I've launched the IDU and activated then rebooted. I made demo disappeared then connected to internet, but when I try opening the package installer in vita it loads then it says error cannot connect. (I do have QCMA turned on and the files in Documents/PSV Packages

Two things I'd suggest.
Look if the generated iso's hash matches the one on redump.org.
If it isn't, try to dump it with pspfiler.
That's the preferred way of dumping a game for redump.org which take preservation really seriously.

Considering that you could use an Acekart 2i for NTRcardhax, I'd say this one.

For some reason every time I try to install any VPKs transferred via USB through the latest version of Vitashell, it refuses to install and I just get an error.

When I try to install the latest Retroarch nightlies, it doesn't just crash, it crashes the entire Vita.

Don't you have an old SD card in your R4 already? If you have the kernel and shit from the DS days you should be fine, though you may want to update it with Wood.

Apart from that, you need to install NTR Launcher on your 3DS. Remember to set NTR_CLOCK to 0 for a much-needed performance boost.
