In general, a lot of people forget about tradeoffs and the real fun in this game is figuring out which car will win the specific track youre playing. You dont pick an re-7b on plumett, and you dont pick an 811 on cutting corners etc.

Cars and bikes with good handling are never going to get the best lap times on your average track, but they are more reliable, and sometimes do better on weird tracks.

Like how the tropos is top of class if you do a tight winding track. Its no elegy, but its super short wheel base can make it king for a day. I like that stuff.

The double t and carbon rs have always had better handling than the akuma and bati by a good margin, they have more forgiving suspension, better grip, lean faster and turn tighter overall. On certain tracks, they could win- and were always easier to drive which is nice for some players even if youre an edgelord.

The shatoro and haku drag have horrible handling, but their speed makes up for all of it no matter how bad- they win on tight winding tracks anyways. Bike races are DEAD DEAD DEAD

I got bored of hydra, so I tried it out using VTOL one day and it went better than expected, it isnt much of a point, but it can confuse some players since nobody ever uses VTOL, and when they do its usually a shitty player

you can go faster than a frogger but you simply cannot control it as well. imagine you're using it the way you might use a buzzard, circling around your enemy. a good player is going to anticipate that movement and fire a homing rocket off to the side. a good buzzard could fly erratically to prevent this and even stop just short of a rocket, but a hydra would probably be doomed in the same situation. helicopters are slow to change direction, but they're extremely agile as well when it comes to stuff like this.

i'm not that autist, lad. i just don't understand why someone would limit themselves by using a hydra's vtol mode so liberally. i'd recommend it more in situations where you need to hit a small spot, like the inside of a parking lot. when using a jet you want to be pretty much invulnerable, and the best way to do that is by constantly moving. you can't get away with VTOL mode when there's more than one player on the ground who wants you down.

Boom and zoom doesn't really work in GTAV since the maximum velocity of a plane is very very low. If you're massively faster than what you're fighting you can come in from any angle, you just have to be smart about it and be unexpected.

If you want to feel complete and empty at the same time, try selling crates. You can do it entirely solo, it gives you a number of chances to run around the city in your favorite vehicles, you can make a nice lump sum in a matter of hours/days and your office fills up.

If you care about the money and only the money, do I/E. You'll make money quicker, your associates get paid more for sales and you get to drive a lot of nice cars that you'd otherwise never try.

Sure, but the things you do in the sourcing missions are much more fun than driving some shitty van or dropping 3 crates into your warehouse 1by1 with a buzzard.

I mean you go in, kill some people, steal a car, kill some more people, drive your awesome car home and then you have a car you can sell. It integrates the actual fun parts of the gameplay.
