She is more similar to sky as as CM than Nera. Renee has a bit of DR, a self speed and reflex buff, and crit rate (but no attack buff).

Most colors have an assist who has decent traits for CM. It isn't exclusively a WW gimmick but Nera just has the right mix of support line + favored position to pull it off easier.

A stiker's first shot usually kills a defender, and if you can get the ball back to that same striker their next shot will be 1-on-1 (dealing far more damage).

Running two strikers means you are alternating shots on net involving two different defenders and diluting your damage.

You want an active pass (baltheon) and then an second "totem" helper who can steal back the ball and also buff the striker through a position buff. Or some people use two active passers.
