Still pretty certain you make mad dosh just running shaped strand forever, purely because it's a very efficient layout and more xp/hour means more kills/hour, which effectively means more currency drops per hour as well.

I would almost certainly get bored of Strand after running it 200 times, though, but you can actually use it to establish a pool of Tropical Islands, which you put Bloodlines on to build a pool of T14s and T15s to run as a breather between running endless strands.

It's what I've been doing, and it's kept me going.

Poison damage scales with area damage if caused by an area ability, poison damage scales with projectile damage if cause by a projectile ability, etc.
Less duration now affects poison duration if cause by an ability linked to that support gem.
Warcry isn't a damage source tag.
Hence poison duration may scales with warcry duration if applied by a warcry hit.

I admit it's a bit confusing since abyssal cry is supposed to be dealing secondary damage.

I have a question about damage conversion: Say that you have a character that fully converts physical damage to fire damage.

The character does 1000 physical dmg per hit before conversion and increased damage is calculated, and has 100% increased physical damage, and 100% increased fire damage on the tree. The wiki says that converted damage gets affected by both types of increased damage once. Either:

1. The damage types get added together and the damage of the hit will be 3000 fire damage

I probably have played at least 3 action rpg games and this is the worst of them. This game is like a Diablo rip-off MMO with no redeemable qualities. It has crappiest isometric graphics ever created. All of the NPCs I found in the starter town area were just useless. I saw no other characters of any kind other than your starting "get the Path of Exile awesomeness thingamajigg microtransaction". I'm sure that if I played it for longer, I could find some stuff to do, and figure things out, but there is a breaking point of shitasticness that you can't go past simply to find out if there is any less shit in the game.

This game is hilariously bad. Go fight things without weapons in the coast, but only if you go out of town in one direction and get a health potion so you don't die. Click stuff, it rolls off numbers and dies, autoattack style. You can click the other mouse button for magic like Diablo. Another fuckig thing. NO MAP. NO FUCKING MAP. Just find a path and walk it until you run into something if you get lost. Seriously, I wanted a fast-paced dungeon crawler ARPG, but this isn't really it. Torchlight 2 was closer, and that game was pretty bland other than the combat. What a waste of fuck shit game.

You are correct there. Only 25% More Damage against basic fodder which is where penitration is least needed.
25% pen verses an average boss would be closer to 36% More Damage. Against a Guardian/Shaper it would be closer to 42% More Damage. In an additional resistance red map it would be 100% More Damage.

What I do is as soon as I reach Mercy Dried Lake I go and buy quality +15% gems and use GCPs from there.
Anything below 10% quality should be leveled to 20 and flipped into a Lv1 q20% gem, but leveling a gem twice takes a while.
