What talents for mage aoe farming? I got Permafrost but it seems like imp blizzard isnt proccing Frostbite as often as id expect, is it because the increase duration on the blizzard chill is causing it to roll the 15% chance to freeze dice less often?

Having a wand is nice and you can always use the extra stats but yes, you can avoid actually farming. I just do instances for quests and new gear is a luxury. You are gonna get hit and die occasionally, you'll oom or get unlucky resists or accidently overpull, it happens. But it's super ezmode.

More int means bigger mana pool. You can kill more before going oom. More sta means you're less likely to die when you pull too many. Or when you get ganked.

You should do instances for quests, not for gear. That is, if you can get a group reasonably fast. Don't bother autistically farming instances for gear.

Shadowfang Keep itself actually much easier. It's spookier for sure, but the most difficult thing will be getting everyone there. Don't be surprised when a gnome mage joins your LFM ad only to see his party marker in Duskwood or something and he tells you he doesn't have the flight path.

If you can't get a group together, it's surprisingly easy to just get some other paladins who are also on the quest to help you out. This should be no problem on the fresh server. You only need to reach the stables across the courtyard.

My friend keeps telling me to play but I got to level 10 and stopped playing once I realized the barrens are like 5x more populated than durotar is.

It's just dumb waiting for mobs to respawn mashing T. That's not an enjoyable experience one bit, and if I'm gonna level to 60 at 1x (which I actually enjoyed quite a bit on vanilla, did it repeatedly just for the sake of it) I want it to atleast be an enjoyable experience.

I get that most people don't see a problem with this and just want to get to 60 as fast as possible, but it's honestly a terrible experience compared to actually populated (not OVERpopulated) vanilla leveling.

Beastmaster as you can't rely on gear to make MM better.
Boar is a good choice for the charge root ability that helps with the retarded pathing on mobs from lag. Also it has high amount of armor/stamina and eats pretty much anything you find. A cat is fine too.

Is this a joke? Horde quest hubs are more centralized, you don't have to switch between Westfall/Loch Modan every 2 levels and there's a lot less walking between quests.
Not even mentioning there isn't a zone as awful as Teldrassil and your Hunter pet quest doesn't take an hour to complete as a Orc/Troll.
Don't get me started on the Zeppelin connections compared to Alliance boats and flight paths.

Old WoW hands down. TBC got too stupid with it's glowy outer space crap. WotLK brought it back down to earth but a lot of the non-tier sets looked the same and the pvp sets were hot garbage, though the tier sets were great.
