here are my suggestions for a Tyr buff

1 widen the range, and add 6 strikes in the combo each has to deal 400 +90% of physical power and it has to stun for 10 seconds at the end unbeadsable stun please
in blue stance it knocks back and root and does 500+90% damage


2 widen the range and it has to root and stun 600 damage +90%

blue stance it does the same damage and heals Tyr for 500 for each enemy hit

3 red stance Tyr gets +80%physical power 50% pen and 40% crit chance

blue stance Tyr gets +90% protections 90% cc reduction and his health regen is multiplied by 8

4 Deals 1300 +100% damage plus an additional 500 for each target hit

also every ability has no cooldown

I hope hirez hears me out and adds these changes

Yes a Titan instead of frostbound would have been nice, but even with a build like that he could have still fearless people in poseidon whirpool/kraken, isolated a guy targeted by nemesis ult etc...
It's his low number of assist that make me say it was more of a player problem than a build problem.

The Poseidon build is worst, no gem of isolation, double stacking also no purification against an Hades, a Susano an Anubis and a Vulcan. He may have a lot of kill, but he also have a shitton of death, and frankly going 4/1 is better than going 13/13.

Also to be fair you should avoid building sanctuary as a support, you should have picked a sprint or a shell. But I know it's easier said than done.

No, that's a fair point. I was still in the mindset of a recent mage game with a pos on the other side, so it's easy to go kraken = sanctuary. But sprint does just the same with more utility. well i played a good amount on pc and ps4 respectively but far apart so i never actually got good. My old favorites I remember were Cabraken(sp?) and Chaac, and I remember really really wanting to try the Xing Tian guy. Cabrakan is pretty neat, as a "run in your face and punch you to death" kinda guy. Chaac is mostly about not losing lane, and being irrelevant lategame. Xing Tian is pretty good solo. Agni is a bit meh as far as balance is concerned, not top tier, but not shit-tier too. Plus you can do interesting techs with him that aren't too hard and make you feel good.

Also, Ratatoskr is a murdering fuck, so that's pretty normal. And Ravana is actually a good god now. So you're not looking towards too bad a selection of gods. Given your preference, you'll want to head to the solo lane. The short side one. You may also want to look at other easy warriors to handle, like the newest Nike, or Guan Yu. On the mage side, Hades is really great in pubstomping scenarios. You heal off each waves, and your ult will fuck newbies hard.

Mercury's decent, especially since the buff to his steroid, but you've got to realize you're made of wet tissue paper, and many of your skills can read "rush faster to your death"

As for good mages, the most common in pubs will probably be Ra (easy as piss, big damage, self and team sustain), anubis (pubstomper) and he bo (also a pubstomper) and kukulkan (big damage, easy clear). Thoth is a new god that's not hard to understand, and is pretty good. Zeus is apparently meta, but with no escape or even a speed boost of any sort, you're gonna get dumped on. Overall, avoid at first Janus and Nox (hard to play), Aphrodite (in cruel need of a buff) Zhong Kui (melee-ish special tanky mage that isn't bad, but easy to get shit on) as well as Freya, Chronos, Sol and Ao Kuang (which are magical ADCs and a magical assassin). Though Freya may be the easiest amongst these to handle.

I have a personal fondness for Isis, but you gotta poke around, see what sticks.

Athena would be great if you get saddled with the support role. You get a dash, a taunt that's super easy to land and super powerful, and enough power in your clear to work even as a jungler. Plus your ultimate allows you to jump on any ally, which is great when you fucked up and end up at the other side of the map while there's a fight happening.
Ares also has a big shield with chains. Agressive kind of support, with less regular crowd control, and more burning fools with dots while they can't run away. Plus, you get an easy to land ultimate that everybody fears for good reason.

Oh, and on the axe side, Sobek is pretty great. Fuck up others positioning, interrupt everything, works both as support and solo.

The dual is the longest lane, the solo is the shortest one. It changes depending on which side you start in, so don't you call one or the other "left" or "right" lane outside of specific games.

Long lane = support (generally a guardian, though some warriors like Sun Wukong and Hercules are decent at it) + ADC (generally a hunter, though Chronos, Freya and Sol are mages that fit the role)
Mid is generally the domain of mages, because you gotta get a clear done fast, and move back in case the jungler comes for your ass. Some other roles work too however (like Neith, being technically a hunter, but as ability-based as a mage)
Solo is generally where warriors lie, given you need to self-sustain, and last forever. Though here again, some other characters kinda work here (like Chang'e or Sobek)
And finally, jungle, roam around, complain about how no one follows you to camps, get complained upon because you're not ganking even though you really should farm a couple more levels. Generally this is where assassins shine. But we've seen mages or guardians have a field day here.

I'd dive into the details, but season 4 is nigh upon us, and that means balance changes, map changes, item changes, god changes..

Hunter, Mage, Warrior, Guardian, and Assassin is the archetypes that the gods have.
Hunters almost always are ADC's
Mages are either Mid/solo or ADC carries. (there are a very small amount of support oriented mages, there are also a very few amount of assassin mages)
Warriors tend to run the solo lane or in some specific warriors (and the appropriate meta) the duo lane as support. Some warriors also jungle from time to time.
Guardians run either the support role or in some specific cases they can jungle. Although I think 2 of them can solo? I don't tend to poke around what is relevant in the solo lane.
Assassins tend to run Jungle and in some highly specific gods they can also run ADC or solo.

Hunters/assassin/warrior archetypes always deal physical damage
Guardian and Mage always deal magic damage.

Just because a god is classified as an archetype doesn't mean they don't belong in a different role. Ao Kuang for example is much closer to an assassin than mage, but being that he is magical damage he falls under the mage archetype.

Oh, and by the way, here are the general all-purpose builds that work for most gods of that role:
Guardian: Start with watcher's gift. You shitter won't get full benefit from your traveler's boots, so get either cooldown boots or reinforced greaves (you double shitter). Then it's heartward amulet and sovreignty, and then probably a breastplate of valor. Finish with whatever. If you feel like having a single damaging item for a bit of oomph, make it soul reaver.
ADC: Start with bluestone, get warrior tabi (ninja tabi is for later if at all), then devourer gloves, then go crit item, penetration item, other crit item. Finish with fatalis because you probably still need that you terrible person you.
Mage: Start with vampiric shroud or soul stone, both work. Get your shoes of the magi. Then get book of thoth. Then obsidian shard. Then, get all the damage you still want with chronos pendant, rod of tahuti, gem of isolation, bancroft's talon, whatever.
Warrior: Start with death's scythe, build your warrior boots. Then go for something with a mix of defense and offense like a frostbound hammer. Then go with a midgardian mail or whatever armor from that tree if laning against a physical character, bulwark of hope if laning against a magical character. Then go with a penetration item like Jotun's wrath. Finish with a mixed defenses item like hide of the urchin or spirit robe. Find time if you're facing some strong heal-based gods (like ra, guan-yu or even hercules) to squeeze in a brawler's beatstick instead of your jotun's wrath, or a persilence instead of your bulwark of hope.
Finally for assassins, start with bumba's mask, get your warrior boots, then get penetration items I guess.

The important thing to remember about the roles is what is more or less required of any god that goes into those roles.

The ADC must be able to build basic attack damage items and remain effective, or have a kit that is conducive to basic attack damage, in order to take down structures and objectives. This is why some mages, warriors, and assassins can function as ADCs. Note that physical gods always have a leg up when damaging a tower, since structures have an innate magic damage reduction which you can't counter through penetration.

Supports generally have at least 2 forms of "hard" CC in their kit, stuns, knockups, etc., and are hard to kill. Some provide sustain to other players, those being the favorites in the current meta.

Mages build ability power, and generally have large area of effect abilities to poke out other players in a team fight. Most late-game mages will kill at least one target if they can get their whole kit off.

The mission of the solo laner is to outclear and outlevel their opponent, so they'll need some sustain, some bulk to take poke from the enemy solo, and some damage to hit back and be useful in the later game.

The jungler must be mobile, a leap is practically a requirement. Hard-hitting, small AOE abilities are needed for clearing camps. The jungler is mainly responsible for ganking, and so must shit damage, and usually have some form of CC.
