well, everything there is...well, outdated as fuck but here are the salvageable one for beginer players, keep in mind that pretty much every shared SB type there is pretty common on useful character nowadays.

minor Boostga

>Diamond Shield (I)
Protectga.

>Scholar Hat (III)
minor medica.

the medicas there are beyond salvation since medicas are very common these days.

Scholar hat is somewhat nice because III is a realm with very few events and synergy from it is somewhat rare.

personally the only thing there that can be remotely useful is Oath Veil (VI) because the enWIND, but that's all

if you need better relics and have 50myth try the 1st banner of XIV, these relics are pretty amazing, hell the "worst" things you could draw are Medica II and WALL, and WALL is WALL and Medica II is still a pretty solid medica.

For someone that played 7-10 and the MMO for some time. Will 15 be fun for me? I'm bored as hell and need something till Nioh comes out.

Thanks for looking into it. I'm not really in need of better relics and if I really was I would probably save for a banner outside of XIV. I'm fully aware of how good the banner is but I already know I wouldn't use any of those characters outside of Y'sholta and I already have stoneskin II for her. Unless I really want to get that diamond shield to have a powerful shield then i'd probably just save my mythril until the FFIV banner down the road or whatever half price banners we get.

Take Samurai for instance. It basically doesn't have any skills set in stone and every entry introduces new skills and removes some old skills. What sets it apart then? Two handing a katana as the main weapon.

Dragoons use lances and poles, Paladin's use one handed swords and shields, Dark Knights use great swords, Red Mages use rapiers, Monks use fists, Summoners have horns, etc.

Abilities are always subject to change and some classes have experienced this more than others.

Gilgamesh is just Gilgamesh. He's been almost everything at this point, but the point is that he travels the void and collects weapons.

His OSB is stronger than the average OSB and triples his cast time for all skills for 25 seconds (the same duration as most buffs including Wall). His BSB is less impressive bit it's still the strongest BSB in the game, gives him a good stacking buff, and has strong commands.

The downside to them is that they have a longer than average cast time compared to other SBs (his Burst commands actually take twice as long as the average one), but if you use his OSB or his RM that gives you the triple cast speed buff at the start of the battle it's not a problem at all.

Also his skillset is just stupid. Combat 5, Spellblade 5, Knight 5, Celerity 5, Samurai 5, and Darkness 4 (not sure why they decided to show restraint there).

It was fun initially, but what made it fun was the people and everyone left because of their own reasons. Under the surface, I discovered I didn't really enjoy the way the game worked. 3 roles with all classes fitting one role, gear being bigger numbers, with old gear being replaced and being useless, grinding atmas and all those fates just to populate low level areas with adventurers. It's all so different from XI, classes were so unique, gear was so special, hell, a Scorpion Harness didn't become shit just because it was level 57. I think I just prefer the way XI played over XIV.
