The live event for BGHS is tomorrow in Japan.

The showings are at 13:30 and 18:00. No idea if there's going to be a stream, or if there's going to be realtime shitposting on 2ch/futaba, so maybe details past this won't mean much for any of us until showings are over.

VAs not attending are Haruka, Kurumi, Renge, Sakura, and Sadone.
Plans seem to include performances and chatting among the VAs. f^f will definitely be doing something, with Pixie being the only other complete group.
Everyone is obviously anticipating news about the Anime or potentially something regarding Story 3.

If there's a character you wanna star up, don't skimp out. The boost from increasing a star is pretty big.

How do you guys manage stamina btw?
After using up all that free stamina they gave out at the beginning (tfw 2k stamina) I'm now at 114.
I use it up rather quick. Farm souls, then the remaining stamina for orbs and finished within a few minutes. Sure, you get free stamina for finishing quests, but I'm still surprised fast it is gone for me.

Well, it's not exactly fair to compare them that way since resource use is different. Sorahime uses resources for just about everything including weapons, and the progress gates are the plans and cores instead of basic resources and you can't really grind for those.

Starly has mechs and weapons in a separate system and you tend to get more things out of each mission, but I don't think anyone will accuse it of being generous with resources.

There's 2 glitches iirc regarding heroes

One is invincibility, this is activated every time you use a hero skill. A lot of People think that it's a glitch and not a feature, which gets me worried. As far as I'm concerned, each hero skill is supposed to have invincibility frames during the animation.

The other is invisibility, I don't know how that's happening. I think it's lag and not a glitch.

Some other glitches in the game from the top of my head are attacks going thorough maps and getting blown out of the map; though none of these gave me an issue.

Seems like they're butt hurt about the invincibility animation during the hero skill the most

Download the game, play through the tutorial. If you accidentally skipped it, look the game by its Japanese name up YT and find a intro video to the game. It's pretty much a capture the point/moba/Megaman battle network mix of a game. You move around and use cards to attack/defend/heal.

You start out with Atari (the game boy) and then attain hero tickets through gacha or accomplishments to roll for other heroes

The neet with the branch is good, everyone's good as they serve different purposes.

You already know his stats, so I don't have to elaborate on that. His hero skill (the super power) is healing to full health + a permanent attack and defense boost. His hold attack is closing distance with his stick to eliminate everyone that is in his point of view. He's pretty good if you like to rely on boosting and healing yourself without cards or team members. He and the swordsman are the only guys that close in distance with their hold attack, the stick neet has a faster close in and finish.

Yes he's good. Most important thing is to practice and experiment with card stacks; also get the hang of him assuming you want to play differently than you do with Atari.

Paying money simply allows more drop spots to wait for as well as more ways to assemble your deck (3-9). That and more gacha rolls. Even then, it allows you to be a "vip" for a short time then those privileges are gone

Energy is given out for free most of the time, so are card drops. Every day you get cards or energy or coins from your daily log in. The reason why he had max levels is because all the people have a shit ton of energy thanks to the devs giving it out like its nothing.

Game purely relies on team work, skills, and luck. Also the N/R/SR/UR ranks of cards isn't a big deal. Most of my deck and other people is a mix of N/R/SR and people with full ur cards can still lose. UR doesn't equate to winning a match. Most people on social media haven't dropped money yet because there isn't need to.

I always have a heal card and poison ground (metal doll) card with Luciano, personally because I go in and act as a decoy while others do their thing. Others like close Melee range attacks with boosting attacks to deal with Atari users and Joanne's. All depends on what is best for you

New to VC, should I use mana for gear summons? Also, all my main units are blue border right now and the grind to upgrade them seems to be a huge pain in the ass. Should I go through the storyline as much as possible and go back to grinding those seals later?

If you meant rangers (the green bow icon), they don't exist (yet). At least not as good as what you get with melees and magics. I'm trying to farm Marmalade to run as my ranger now. She seems okay enough. Magic-based, nice debuff, has Fimbulvetr as Limit Burst and cute. So basically a more defensive fish-version of Canon, the other semi-decent ranger we have right now.

Don't think it's too difficult. Just do your daily quests, climb arena ladder and stay in the ranks. And you get like 100 gems every day from login bonus or something? Add other event gems and it's not that hard to pile your gems. At least it works for me, got 27k gems saved right now. Just don't just draw every time you have 300 gems when you don't need to, maybe wait for good rate-ups or discount.

Forgot to add. Priority for mana should be to level your heroes first. Use the remaining mana however you want.

I disagree with what you said about rangers. They are very useful depending on game mode. Momiji for instance is great for Arena and certain connect bosses who have low dark resist (she's been MVP of my Mermaid connects 90% of the time - her unique equip deals great damage), same thing with Ranco - she's good for utility in arena.

What you do have to watch out for is the distinction between ATK and MATK rangers. Momiji and Ranco are examples of ATK rangers and Wolfgang, Canon, and Mermaid are examples of MATK rangers. The attack type of their skills will tell you which they are.

From VH? If you can't do the paths to unlock Clara's jobs there's not a huge benefit to it. The only drops are Clara, her job unlock mats, Ella and their Omicron otomo. 1 is broken, gives attack buff, thunder bolts, and storm to party (Work)
1 is meh, heals party and gives status immunity, damage barrier, knock-down barrier, and ranged barrier (Health)
The other two is an affinity attack (Love) or non-weapon attack (School)

So, only 1/4 chance to be useful. I've had it hit on first use, other times I only get it because everything hasn't died yet and I'm still spamming it.

Xmas cards are all much more consistent. This is fine if you don't have those and enjoy rng in your fights.

You NEED one of the proficiency cards from winter date set, or xmas Sadone. Then make the event weapon for that.

Method is something like:
>Transform after combo'ing some or right when it's doing the fire attack, which won't drop combo but put you at 1hp
>Use proficiency giving skill once, attack and dodge as usual
>When it first fucks off, use charged skill to buff yourself
>Attack it while it puts up the pylon, dodge to the side and hope it fucks off
If you don't dodge, it'll pop you with the fire attack and you won't revive and transform fast enough to do anything while it summons
>Combo for proficiency buff again while it's setting up
Best timing is to have the skill go off just as the pylons appear, breaking the purple and green one

Problem tends to be running out of SP, at least for spear. If I die from a meteor landing on my head, I don't usually transform again. Fight is similar with pistols, but without the need for skills unless you have something good, like the whale card.

It's been a long time since I last played the game seriously, but generally it was best to just idle the easiest difficulty a ton of times rather than doing the highest difficulty seriously. You basically got drastically more fodder at the expense of experience. If you had enough soul, the boss couldn't do damage. I don't know if that's changed though with the renewal.

I've heard about the top 8 of my students. Although she's at the bottom of the 8, I have to say I enjoyed Yuri's voicemails the most. How her voice is so tense in 1-3 voice mail, and how she's more relaxed in 4th, then suddenly tense again in the middle of it.

In the end, is it a good idea to trade for the NY Ruushe/Hina motifs? Famitsu and Appmedia seem to rank them quite high, and I really don't want to gimp my characters by missing out on them.

How are people finding Hina herself? She's my best dragon rider, but since she doesn't seem to be that overpowered, I don't know if I should bother with trading for her weapon. On the other hand, I will need a decent dragon rider weapon sooner or later, and all I have is a 3* spear.

Hina's motif is mediocre at best, Hero Glive's motif or even Chaguma Tsukimi's motif are better

In short, these skills are almost always good:
>ATK buff
>Damage reduction
>Chain plus
>Sphere change
For me, the progression started with getting a half-decent leader for every color, then filling their teams with subs (a lot of the best ones are actually farmable!), then upgrading the teams as I pulled the gacha more. The other ways of raising your team are rather minor and come down to awakening abilities (just grind the evo mat dungeons for them), artifacts (still don't have a single one) and leveling (almost never had to farm the angels, as ranking dungeons give a lot of them even at low ranks).

The only reason not to exchange for something is because you intend to roll gacha while it's still available. But, weapon gacha is an asshole, back in Chaguma I needed Charlotte's cross sabers, but I only ever got dupes of some edgelord's garbage. Ended up using the pink 3* ones until I decided I was done rolling weapon gacha and exchanged.

So this is why you don't exchange for train girl's cross sabers since she'll be in for a while, but why you might wait until something new is added, in case you want to roll for that stuff. Also because weapon gacha always gives you whatever you traded in for.

I think you should roll more, but if you don't want to experience the full force of disappointment and regret from weapon gacha any further, then Ruushe's weapon would be best to get. I'd only get Hina's weapon if you really enjoy playing her.

For fuck's sake, I knew my fun with Compass will be ruined, but not the same fucking day. It's not about skill, you can do fuck all without good cards.

The skull means they're the enemy, it's a ui assistance for people who seem to forget who's the enemy and who's the ally. Esp when your team mates has a hero that's the same as the enemy down to the costume

Yeah, you're basically at the "Get good leads" stage for now. Nap is a good start, and Hazuki (the white-haired light 4*) will serve you well. Akira (the fire starter) is a decent fire lead, too, though you're going to switch him for someone better sooner rather than later. The dark and the green 5* don't improve your attack, so they're most often used as subs (although very good ones). The farmable water girl can serve as a decent lead for now.

Don't forget to roll the friend point gacha, since it has some decent subs, too, including the sphere changers. The wiki is at https://shoumetsu.gamerch.com/ , but it's in Japanese. If you want English info, consult the OP; pretty sure we don't have a Discord channel, though I wouldn't mind joining one if it gets made.

You could roll climax gacha but that's only suggested when you have a stupid surplus of gems. They might put up guarantees for that on a whim too.

But, no such a thing as a surplus with Valentine's coming up. Might possibly have a leak for the next set within a day or two, but not sure at all what they'll do for end of January set.

Is there something I'm missing about Valentine's set? I've seen it mentioned a lot and people were disappointed about the Sadone reprint thing too. But checking out wiki, the cards don't seem to be especially broken. I'd understand if it was for outfits or skill animations, but wouldn't it make sense they'll do something different? Seems like any other set then, where you can't really predict the designs and might not even end up liking them that much.

It's a lover-themed holiday in a game about cute girls, of course it's for outfits and skill animations.

But I was pretty happy with the set from a gameplay perspective, too. I'm an Ankofag who almost always has her using guns, so Valentines set gave me a stronger main card for her with autoreload.

And yeah, we don't know what they'll do and it could be something we don't like that much, in which case just don't roll much. But the theme does have good potential, which is why we look forward to it more than just random sets.

Reprint gacha was going to come after Sadone's birthday. Every single birthday always had:

And 3 other cards from previous events. But, dummies voted in the Valentine's card to the reprint gacha instead of her swimsuit. So, instead of it being 1/6, it became 1/36 and swimsuit wasn't put into the birthday gacha.

And if you don't understand what Valentine's set is about, you clearly haven't found you're waifu yet. Or saw Valentine Sadone's skill animation. And I don't think anyone has ever complained about outfits, just when gacha is denying they're waifu.
Also, this year's set will not be last year's set. Might even be completely different from last year, since they went with that style of outfit for Christmas this year.

Alright, I can get behind that. It's just it seemed to be mentioned way more than anything else, while I think there are outfits that have potential to be just as cute. Maybe I'm just not that of a Valentine's person. Going by the themes in BGHS, there's quite a few I'd be looking forward to more than Valentine's. Especially Halloween, too bad I finally got myself to play after it was gone.

Valentine Sadone happens to be a metal killer too, which are rare skills but also rarely see use.

Also some of the potential of even having certain skill animations is using them on other girls. So even if you don't get who you wanted, it might be someone with a cute animation to use on someone else.
