I got CHMM2, but it's says I need a dspfirm.cdc, how exactly do I get it? I've searched online but no straight forward answers.

I somehow managed to brick my o3ds xl like a fucking retard. I deleted the contents of my microsd card absentmindedly.
Without the micro-to-sd card adapter in the 3ds, or with the adapter and micro sd card, the 3ds power light comes on for a second then turns off, with the screen remaining black.
With the sd card adapter, but without the microsd, the power light comes on and stays on, but the screens remain black. In all three scenarios i cannot boot to recovery. Am I totally fucked? I deserve to be.

Is it safe to do a system transfer to a region changed 3DS that can't access the eshop?

So a friend of mine brought me his son's 2DS for an arm9hax install.

I noticed the SD contained data from a previous hack (rxtools) as well as some files without name and with 0kb size on the data management on the 2DS, so I decided to run Tinyformat to get rid of all that shit and start from 0

Everything seemed to be going fine, until I restored the Nand.bin, apparently there were some games installed on the Emunand, and now they are being displayed as these black icons on the menu.

Opening them just give me an error screen and nothing else, they don't appear on the data management.

Any ideas on how to delete them?

So one of my closest friends is depressed, her parent's marriage is falling apart and whatever.

She just bought herself a 2DS and updated, so obviously can't hack it for her, and she'd be too ethical for that anyways.

But I want to give her a few of the 3DS carts i've bought.

For example, I bought an Animal Crossing cart ages ago. In theory, can I extract/keep that save file and use it in a downloaded version of the game? That way I give her my cart of the game, but still have all of my progress in the downloaded version instead?

No, just install via FBI. If you have Luma3DS, you don't need to do anything else to get GBA games to work. And you're on A9LH so you only need to download it there I believe. With Emunand, you have to download the game on both Sys and Emunand, but that doesn't apply to you.

Also the cia is in the Games pastebin. Like go to the normal pastebin and navigate until you find the downloads, it isn't very hard to find Mother 3 in there

So I managed to get a9lh and luma on both my n3ds and 03ds, and I can download games with CIAngel just fine. But for some reason any downloads I make on the eshop go up to 99% before giving me an error, and trying to play online on any of my legit cartridge games gives me an error as well. Stangely enough I can play online on any games that I downloaded through CIAngel. Does anyone know a fix to this? I don't want to waste my progress on my legit games.

Update Luma whenever Nintendo pushes a new 3DS update.
Always check /hbg/ before updating your 3DS. A9LH has never been blocked and it seems pretty much impossible in general. The risk is that the system update causes it to stop working under the current Luma version, which is easily fixed with Luma updates.

like just buy a DECHA00A (fat ps2 BC testkit model) or DECH2000A/2500A and downgrade to 3,55 with the OFW DEX update because it works like that (dependong on 2500A mfr date you may have issues so 2000A is better), then just install the latest Rebug D-REX (yes D-) CFW and you're set

The E3 flashers on aliexpress are definitely clone models but they still work for downgrading as long as you know what you're doing. I bought a clone Flasher before and downgraded my PS3 successfully. But flashing/dumping too many times will brick the Flasher as it tells you that you can't use the Flasher for more than 1 PS3. You can dump from the same PS3 a couple of times but if you try to use another PS3 or dump way too many times than needed than it's going to brick on you.

For single use purposes, the clone will do fine as long as you follow the downgrade steps correctly. But if you intend to downgrade more than 1 PS3 then don't buy a clone, get the real deal.

The Flasher itself bricks as it gives you a error code that you can't fix as clones can't accept any update files. The PS3 will be fine. Only ways you can brick your PS3 is if you try to install a bad Nor dump you created or you break your consoles Nor chip by using the clip wrong (putting it the wrong way and applying lots of clamp pressure to it).

If you guys are comfortable with shipping your downgradable consoles, there are some people online that will downgrade your PS3s, change the thermal paste, and then ship them back to you for around $30. My friend used a guy called Downgrade Dude from EBay and he was satisfied with it. Took 1 week to ship and get it back.

Actually having done 3 consoles yesterday the current arm9loaderhax installer glitches the bottom screen upon visiting the url. Hitting select installs it fine, but it won't auto reboot for you
