Are people honestly this bad at processing information? Can you not tell what gun the opponent is shooting you with? Every class really only had a few options for each type of weapon they had and most of them were distinct enough that you knew what you were facing immediately or were such a marginal or out of combat difference that they may as well have been shooting you with the default. Loadouts saved TF2 from getting boring and repetitive years before it's time actually came and that largely wasn't because the gunplay killed it.

Stop playing shooters if you can't figure out shit this basic, games like Halo and Quake have players with the same universal character models and you can tell what gun you're being shot at with in those games. Overwatch would have no fucking problem doing the same thing, think before you type or reply again retard.

I play QP almost exclusively because I can play literally any hero I want and not care if people agree with my choice, however, I also take it seriously enough to always play my best and make sure that at the very least we have a healer.

It's kinda hard to take advantage of anything sombra does, because the windows she creates are brief

A good sombra ult is in response to enemy ults that she can mitigate or straight out cancel

Her ult causes split-second hesitation that good teammates will use to kill anything around them.

When she ults, the first thing to do is to look for enemys that rely on shields. Zen is basically paper, symmetra to a lesser extent. Zarya is probably biggest priority because she's now half dead and can't cover herself or charge her beam.

Next is hero's that need their skills to survive. Genji is the fastest to take down.

Essentially, if the whole team just goes down the checklist together, the hacked enemy team can't do much.

Remember that every time sombra distracts more than one enemy, that's another opportunity for you to push.

Sombra makes up for her lack of stopping power by allowing teammates to stay alive longer and kill enemies faster.

She is not tracer, and is not trying to be tracer. Translocator is way more effective to escaping death than tracer's blinks.

Granted, her effectiveness is only as big as her teammates will allow.

every hero benefits from better aim. Teams that can take advantage of sombra will generally beat out teams that require a different attackers power to make up for inefficiencies

mid silver placement, low to mid gold on the climb. Being there is NO way decent comp is going to let you get away with a .54 Earthshatter kills. That's some no rein on the other team silver shitter level play.

Same for most of the rest of the stats. You have huge blocking numbers due to shit level junkrats in every game, pounding your shield. You have have high DMG being you can YOLO into the other team and no one sleeps/hooks/stuns/counter pins you.

All pointing to very, very low level play to be able to get away with any of that.

I'm pretty shit at the game, mid plat last season, but at least I used to be playing other people roughly at my level, now almost every game is filled with diamonds and masters, it has become genuinely rarer to see other plats than diamonds.

Placed 2540 this season, and basically have 80% of the time on rhein this time around. Main difference for me is that this season I've actually been going sort of tryhard and playing in only 6-stacks. Rarely see junkrats, its been usually soldier/hogs just melting shields most of the time. Damage and whatnot is usually just due to initiation of fights, which is what Rhein does best. It usually consists of:

>drop shield to charge in
>zarya bubble/ana nade as you go in
>swing hammer around after a pin kill as rest of team goes in speed boosted w/lucio with lots of ana shots healing you up

I'd say it mostly depends on your team and how you handle rhein-on-rhein battles which is most of the hard part in the current "rhein every game" meta. Requires team setup in order to get value out of.

Solo que rhein is hardest to do good with in my experience, esp in gold/plat, unless the people you're playing with are actually decent people and can follow through stuff you're doing. Last season did exclusively solo que and dropped to 2100 at one point due to filling and playing tanks and healers, where afterwards I carried myself out doing soldier/reaper almost exclusively.

Haven't gotten to play a lot this season, and a lot of those that I found in playing placements/games after are now sitting around diamond/masters. Feels bad.
