Not really. Hitler liked his pretty straight lines and Army Group Centre was further forward than anyone else, like spitting distance of Moscow.

I believe the argument he's probably trying to make is that many people want to make the "best" of time limited events, and having a teammate or five bring a very suboptimal vehicle for the task at hand can be very frustrating.

It's expected that naturally you need to level up your shittanks and shitplanes somewhere, quick play is always around for that and it's pretty rare that you hear someone get shit on for running a stock tank (usually just sympathy). It's expected the team will have to work harder to make up for it, but that's fine, because that's how the game is designed.

The issue is that when you enter in to these time limited events with a stock vehicle or whatever, it comes across as saying "grind for me because I'm too lazy to carry", you feel me?

I'm not very deep in to WT these days so I have no idea what the events going on actually are.

The Churchill Mk. VII is a meme machine. If you aren't a mouthbreather, you can be a one tank platoon. The Comet is good too, though the 3-4 tier Brit TDs are absolute cancer. You get the Achilles, but then you get Avenger and Charioteer which both hurt your soul.

The Caern is good, but expensive to run. Repairs are high, cost of APDS is high. It'll bounce 122s, though. The Medium tank line is quite fun once you get past the Challenger, and the 10,5cm HESH for the Centurion Mk.10 is F U N.

The Brit HESH has 5mm more pen, so you can blow through the UFP of Tiger IIs/Jagdtigers.
The Firefly is... alright. Solid shot High Velocity gun on a Sherman, though no APDS and Slav-tier gun depression. You can make it work, though.
