I for one love this meta. Control is finally fucking viable after being held hostage at gunpoint by Dshift for what felt like an enternity, there are loads of different decks, and not just midrange sword, Tempo&PtP elf, elana and Dshift.

At least as a control player i can finally have fun on multiple crafts with multiple decks in each.

Yes Daria and aggro is a bit strong right now, but people are beginning to figure out the techs and it aint so bad after that.


Dshift is probably making a comeback slowly when more and more control surface, but at least i can enjoy it a bit more.

Also, you're gonna have a really bad time with that many Nep targets, since you won't get Khawy and Mordecai 100% of the time, which you really need to do. I'd say to replace Attendant with Unleasher so you only have 4 Nep targets to remove the RNG, and maybe consider dropping Sergeant in favor of maxing out Dingdong, Corpse, and getting a 3rd Urd or Necroassassin. If you do take out Unica, Skullcradle is great for the extra draw power, since she helps you draw into the specific removal you need for decks like aggro bats more often.

Or you can make one that has more draw, midrange threats and a better backup plan.

You can't have both, they're different decks. The control version I mentioned first is heavy on the 2 drops, heavy on the removal and has Ghostly Rider. The midrange version is the one with Lich combos.

I'm not having that problem at all, if anything I'd say I've been having a good matchup against them. Tempest without necromancy shuts down their early bat plays, Resentment deletes Vania, Pact deletes Yurius, and once you get through the first few turns you get to the fun stuff like Death's Breath and Khawy, at which point aggro blood decks run out of cards to play and you get to tenderly dominate them with Neptits.

Yeah, you can make a midrange list with Cerb+Khawy, and it's all well and good, but why the hell would you play Mordecai without Nep? I did that for a while before Nep came out of maintenance; if you're not running hard control you just get disintegrated for not preventing lethal with him, and sometimes you'll just get disintegrated anyway even as control.

I swear I'm going to get to Masters with my Nep list this month fueled by spite and spite alone. Maybe then we can finally be free of the "Nep is bad" meme.

Nep is the most important card in the deck, you really need 3 to play it.

How many Mordecai you play is up to your build. I personally recommend 2, 3 is too top heavy (and you already have 5 copies in your deck between 3 neps and 2 morde) and 1 risks drawing it.

3 Kawhy and 3 Death's Breath are pretty necessary too.

Everything else is cheap and optional.

From all the classes the Havencraft seems to be the most fun to me and I would like to git gud at it however I don't have any fucking idea where to start.

Elana/Seraph was Tier 1 before the latest expansion. Seraph is completely viable and not slow at all, since you don't need to wait the 4 turns, you normally drop it turn 8 and then throw a bunch of Countdown reductions at it turn 9.

Voices is underrated as fuck, and it really helps you when you can combo them with Sexton for the extra shadows to use with your actual Phantom Howl combo.

People talk a lot about 11 damage from hand with Howl + Cerb but they forget Mummy and Voices can both do 8 damage with Cerb as well, setting up for Demonic Strike next turn.
