Do yourself a favor and get Mod Organizer this time. Learn to use it correctly. When you download a new mod, install it through it. You won't have issues like this again. Uninstalling a mod is as simple as toggling it in the left pane, you don't have to worry about left over shit.

Some textures don't cover all the folders needed. For possible future reference if you need to dig through your files, textures/actors/character/female is where the main 12 texture files go and is female Nord's default folder. Everything else will be in race specific folders in the same textures/actors/character directory but will only contain head _msn files.

I started up Morrowind and wanted to playing Oblivion, I started up Oblivion and want to play Skyrim. and I know I only want to play Skyrim for porn. This is the worst feeling ever. Can anyone help me with my awful performance? Sometimes completely at random, the game just freezes for a few seconds. The ENB FPS counter freezes too but after the freeze ends the counter doesn't indicate that it changed. This is with a new mod profile and the only graphics mods of note that I have are Skyrim HD, SMIM, and Ruffled Feather. The ENB I'm using is Rampage but with a few quality options turned down. Even without the freezes, the most FPS I can get outdoors is 20~30. Pic not very related.

Requiem is shit for the same reason SkyRE is a meme; it doesn't really allow other mods to be installed and usurps your load order to be very limited.

Civil War Overhaul, Dragon Combat Overhaul, Fire and Ice Overhaul etc. are shit because the author can't code and practically send Trainwiz into a coma after he took a look at the code. They are ok mods but because that mod author can't code and has autistic descriptions, nobody really uses them here. This too, but recently its been more up in arms because its the dead of winter, everyone is stuck inside, and people get bored when they can't or won't make things. I feel like because its more chill now, any bit of drama generated is over inflated turns into beating the horse until its a skeleton rather than actually 'fixing' the problem.

Character quality is actually ok or even better now imo, some of the designs aren't as special snowflake as they ised to be, but in general people who do post characters these days at least are very considerate about the lore. Mary sues aside.

I actually enjoy several, like Veit, Jo's characters, Heikos dunmers, Haar's chad adventures, The Counts memery etc.

But if you wanted me to be dogmatic to start some mad shit or whatever, I like Snakestone because his arc from being an adventurer who killed kids to just a family man is interesting to see play out considering with how indepth he is going into it. I mean sure Bohan and Honey have also done/still do that, but they don't post as frequently as they used to. Snakestone isn't a really interesting character by design, but he makes up for it imo by how he plays the game. He went home to be a family man.

I also like Ada's characters esp. Yvenn's take on vampirism and how he plays the game as him, but I don't think they qualify as husbandos.

With that said, I don't expect to read Charles Dickens. These nerds are all writing dope stories and having fun with the game while also being able to waifu it up. Not so much of a circlejerk as it is just having a chill attitude and making the good post.

To be fair in this, I am more inclined to simpler character designs, but namedropping won't solve anything. Its really just a matter of getting good and finding what sticks, which is what Heceril did. Altmer raised by orcs who turned into a ghost to collect teeth and search for nipples, and then a vampire guy. Man I really had to stop and think about how the average person in Skyrim must feel when he sees a dragon gliding toward his town. That slackjawed disbelief when he first sees it, standing there and questioning if he's looking at something real, and then the transition into pure terror as he realizes that this is really happening and starts to hear the screams of others who've come to the same conclusion. When I first saw the dragon here gliding in I had a very clear picture of such a scene painted in my mind and I ended up taking this shot because of it.

After a few minutes of walking around I get a ctd, when I tested it by turning off safety load I froze almost instantly, and body textures won't load unless I disable a substantial amount of mods so I think I'm running out of memory. I might try one last fresh install but I just deleted everything apart from face presets and and my plugins.txt
Its too bad since I had some ideas for the training storytime. Kaarina was going to blind him with her bandana while teaching him to shoot, xi was going to lock him in a tomb, mistel was going to have him steal from the jarl

I never was a fan of Safety Load, it never did anything good for me. When you reinstall, add things back VERY SLOWLY, like one at a time. Be very picky and triple check if it's a mod you REALLY need when you add it back. If memory is your problem then keeping things light might fix it. Best advice I can offer is take it slow when you reinstall. Open the game to do a 30 second test run after every single mod you add if you must.
That sounds like a neat storytime desu. Hope you get your game back in order for it.

I can't decide if I should use my win7 install or if I should give it one last try in win10 and yeah I had around 180 plugins but I could cut that down to around 130-120, I'm just not feeling reinstalling everything less than a week after a full reinstall.

No need to put your nose to the grindstone, spend small portions of multiple days doing it if you want. If your OCD is strong enough you could devote a day to one category of mod, and keep going until you have it rebuilt. I'd use the Win7 install. Nuke what you've got and build it back up S L O W L Y.

Problem with win7 is I keep getting the "a component of the SKSE has crashed" every time I try to launch skse through MO. The only solution would be to do everything manually or use nexus and no way I'm doing that.

I remember you posting about this issue but I don't know the details. Did you try removing your SKSE, then checking to make sure you downloaded the right version, and re-run the installer making sure it was installing everything in the root Skyrim folder?
