Are you being serious right now? When I say appealing to a wider audience, I mean characters like McCree, young 76 - conventionally attractive characters. Junkrat is very, very niche compared to most of the rest of the cast. In terms of design, he's that lanklet goblin henchman who exists to be cannon fodder for the hero. He's even described as a freak in the very first sentence of his bio, what part of that reads like they're trying to sell him as likable to you? The fact that some fans like him doesn't mean the majority of them do, they're the outlier.

So what changes do you anons think would make Sombra decent?

I'd like for her hack to be able to shut down more ults. 76's, for example, since it doesn't really make sense why it doesn't affect a tech-based ult like his visor, but maybe there's a reason why.

Hell, I was a little disappointed her ult and hack didn't make it so certain enemy ults didn't do damage to their own team, so a 76 who wasn't paying attention could suddenly end up spraying his own team in the back, or a Torb's Molten Core turret would turn on it's creator and company.

I guess the problem is that they don't want her to shake up the game's balance too much, but that also kind of limits them on what they can actually do with her.

The hook mechanics are fine, like i said before HE CANNOT ACTUALLY HOOK PEOPLE THROUGH WALLS. He can hook people in line of sight, and what occasionally happens is, due to server lag and the fact that characters retain some momentum after being hooked, the chain will clip through a wall because it doesnt actually have any physical properties in game. So what blizz is doing is, instead of fixing the animation and showing the chain wrapping around the wall, which presumably would make everyone happy, they're making it so that hooked characters have to be in line of sight at all times or the hook will "break." This is a HARD NERF that is only arising out of the fact that the animation is wonky, not out of the fact that it's actually unbalanced, which is a lame reason for a nerf.

This is my problem as well. I mainly play D.va and Zarya and a lot of the time I find myself with gold damage and elims despite having 3-4 DPS characters on my team. I don't get this. If there is an enemy pharah, it's like our team doesn't realize she's in the air killing everyone, and our soldier and widow ignore her. Where as I pick pharah, I instantly get headshot and killed the second I press shift.

I think Reaper is best on KOTH maps. KOTH maps are the most accessible for him because they're designed for close-range combat and that's where he excels. I think he's so strong in-fact on KOTH maps that he is MANDATORY to be played on them.

Junkrat is my second favorite, and second most played, character in the game and I think his trap is bullshit.

The root itself is fine. The problem with it that I have is that it's hard to see and sometimes clips into the floor partially being even harder to see. I would not be upset one bit if they increased the clarity on them.

Zenyatta has to charge up his attack and is perfectly readable

Roadhog on the other hand gets to do his immediately while being able to put himself in danger while being able to self heal with a ton of health. Fair and balanced

Look I dont neccisarily have a problem with roadhog nerfs, I think the hook hitbox could be smaller and the cooldown could be increased, these are the types of things that good roadhogs wont have a problem with because it just means that they will have to be more accurate with them and make them count. But two things: A, I think that roadhog is like, fourth on the list of OP characters behind obviously ana, the mobile bastion with a bullet vaccuum that sucks up everything including your dreams aka dva, and the rapid fire mccree aka soldier seventy dicks, so idk why blizz is proritizing a hero who's no doubt strong, but not the most OP in the game, and also out of all of those heros just the most fun to play overall in my opinion. Secondly, nerfing him in this way is basically just a skillcap nerf and now you get bailed out if you drift a centimeter behind a wall after he gets hooked. Nerf the cooldown and the hitbox, dont do this stupid "breaking" shit, its gonna kill the character. Hes not going to be able to hook people on highground, like literally ever, anymore, because pretty much every time you hook someone higher than you the chain clips.
