My problem with the Eruebetie scene is that from what I can tell they are making her move like a human who happens to have some goo on her. A slime girl should move in a more flowing, inhuman manner. But I guess that is harder to animate.

Err... bad news. The plan was to have the Alma Elma scene done by tonight, but I, uh... kinda fucked it all up lads. Works fine on my computer, was fucked to shit when I tried playing it on my friends, and not due to the usual HTML nonsense. Somehow the translation reverted to the pure machine gibberish.

While I'm debugging though, here's a question for y'all - half of Alma Elma's scene was translated by an actual person. The rest is a weird mix of a machine translate and kinda, sorta a rewrite by me. By "rewrite", I don't mean changing the plot or inserting some disgusting handholding fetish, but I'm kinda just guessing based on the machine translation, so I can't call what I do a translation.


Your options at this point are - I keep the half of the scene that was legitimately, by a person translated, and have the rest be the machine + rewrite

or

All of it is machine rewrite.

Not the best choice, but the translator vanished into thin air and I can't wait any longer for him. So inconsistent quality, or consistently eh- quality, that's your options.

There are too few advanced races/jobs and there's talk of Marine and Pirate jobs in Grandeur. The latter especially has its skillset (Piracy) mentioned in a few ability descriptions and Sables as aspirations of being a Pirate, so it wouldn't surprise me if some stealth patch for part 1 updated her default class once part 2 is released. Speaking of things to come, I cracked open the scripts a while ago and found some very curious things concerning enemy placement. Won't bore you with the details unless you really want them but long story short...

-the insect monsters that used to be in Plansect Village are in a new location altogether
-we can expect more then a few new monsters in Succubus Village
-the rest of La Croix's zombies are slated to appear in that Puppeteer Tower
-there might be a boss rush at the Monster Lord's Castle similar to the original trilogy, except you fight Tamamo right before Alice the 15th
-there might be "heaven" and "hell" variants of the world map (the latter implied by battle conversations with Alice the 16th and Reaper, something about hell needing money to function)

Also, I only found out about those conversations from the CommonEvents file (incidentally, one can discover what to tell them in order to raise affinity, but where's the fun in that?). The details are more like loose theories. Basically, I speculated what I did via a single script cloned next to each other. Basically, the lower pages shows you various locations in Japanese (mostly katakana; thankfully I can read most of them) with a number next to them. The number acts as an ID for each monster (obviously, Slime Girl is 1 and Bunny Slime is 2 and so on). As I scrolled down I noticed the locations went beyond that alternate world with the angels and I started to notice very familiar names.

As I scrolled down much farther, I found the profiles. Like the locations, they had IDs attached that correlate with each other but there was one key oddity. Or some oddities. Right after the Principality angel, there was another profile in Japanese. And another. And another. After throwing ten of them in Google Translate I came to three of conclusions (but I could be wrong here).

1. Every single last monster from the original trilogy has their profile "dummied" into the script.
2. Said profiles outright contradict the happenings of Paradox, implying that they're placeholders to remind ToroToro which monster goes where until they change them.

I'll get to the third soon. The placeholders also have IDs, much like the locations that aren't in part 1. For example, that Snake Miko from the VN part 3 is set to show up in Orochi's Cave in part 2, as is that evil albino lamia twin. Now granted, both the location and profile lists are fucking massive so I can't stand to compare each and every single one of them in one sitting.

I only check the locations that I believe are plot relevant, like Succubus Village. I then look at the ID and scroll down until I find a profile with the same ID, which of course, tells me which monster shows up there. Speaking of Succubus Village, that brings me to the third point.

3. Gaps.

As in, the IDs in the profiles have gaps that should correlate to the locations, which are all filled in. See the attached pic. Basically, I ran the profiles with IDs from 261-265. Basically the enemies you'd expect. Naccubus to the Chief Succubus. No Lilith and Lilium (they appear in an alternate Succubus Village accessed via the Tartarus in the Gold region). The profiles that ought to correlate to IDs 255-260 don't exist. That tells me that any instance where a location has no corresponding profile indicates a brand new monster. Which means we can expect about six new succubus in addition to the repeats from the VN. Maybe. They could be different monsters altogether (not like anyone expected the Imps so close to Iliasville).

I could keep going but these posts are getting long so you get the idea. Simply put, there are gigantic gaps in the profile IDs while everything is filled out as far as locations go. From what I can tell, there are LOTS of new monsters in store for us. Still, there is one more observation/theory I'd like to chime in.

As I said, there are indeed some curious findings. As I scroll lower and lower down the locations list I see some very familiar names appended with (天界) or (魔界). Particularly after the Hellgondo Tartarus. As an aside, Luka's female clone shows up in the "heaven" variant of Ilias Temple, as do many of the angels. To get to the point, I've been wondering how one travels to those varients. Or more precisely, how you can't get there.

As in, I doubt even Luka, with his dimension-crossing ability, would be able to use a harpy feather to warp from his world to "heaven" or "hell". My reasoning is based on a different script file. The one that governs fast travel. Again, pic related. Three terms stick out. The aforementioned "heaven" and "hell" terms and 地上. Earth. The surface.

Every single place that can be warped to at this point in time--even the places beyond the first two Tartarus (wait, I forgot to cap that. Shit)--has a 地上 marker. Which means that the harpy feather and similar fast travel abilities are limited by a "plane of existence". Curiously, you can't warp to Hades. Which, for almost no reason, leads me to believe that doorway leads to another plane of existence. One that you can't return from. At least not with a harpy feather. I don't know. Like I said, I'm just guessing based off of...well, stuff.

Come to think of it, everyone in Rubiana vanished outright and left a message about going to the land of God. Yet they set things up in such a way that implies they'll be back. Not sure what to make of that.

No, really. After another gap (eight missing profiles this time, still within the range of IDs in the heaven version of Ilias Temple) the next profile is Ilias as of part 3 from the VN. And after THAT is the profile for her final form! Eden's profile is nowhere to be found in the "イリアス神殿(天界)" ID range. Especially strange is that's the end of the locations suffixed with "(天界)". After that are the usual locations but with "(魔界)", starting with Grand Noah. And aside from the Gargoyle there, that's where the profiles end.

Wait, I said there are 8 missing profiles between Doppelganger and a repeating angel. Aren't there seven new Archangels?

Quest failed is pretty gud tbqh, found it at some other site to download but thinking if I should mmmmmmaybe pay for the game, but that's only if the creator isn't just gonna drop the project..Is he working on part or what?
