I don't understand this. Why did it not draw the cards and kill him? Aren't draws supposed to result in a loss for the one who initiated it?

Assuming it's some wonky shit where it doesn't draw until afterwards, are there other examples of this? For example, if you played Garuda for lethal damage but they had Yurius for lethal damage, would you win since you kill them first rather than it being simultaneous?

Remove Rune from the game pls. Spellboost has become the single dumbest fucking thing since chaining fireballs in HS.

Zero PP followers, and destroys. 6+ damage 2pp drops, the ability to shut down 95% of turn 2 openers to their benefit, 3pp double spellboosts, and 1pp face damage.

There isn't a single interesting thing about it. Play Control, get D-shifted. Play Aggro, get Daria'd. Play Mid for a coin toss.

I know it's not Daria that's the problem. But the fact that the deck plays like a fucking control deck up until turn 5 is stupid. Literally any play on turn 1-2 overly benefits rune with the expect of anything that can't be touched by spells.

It's like you need a deck specifically just to play against Rune otherwise you're at an auto-disadvantage as long as they play literally anything. And then by turn 3, whatever you play is going to get Wind blasted off the field and then they'll probably insight just to windblast your 4th turn drop.

It's complete and utter anti-fun.

It seems like getting standard cards involves going pseudo-infinite in Take Two, but I am lacking a lot of the staple gold cards from Darkness Evolved and I don't really need any of the Legendaries from that set.

Is crafting gold rares efficient or do you just suck it up and roll on packs?

I personally only run the Dragonclaw Pendants together with a single copy of Grea for my 5 and above cards.
Dragonewt Princess and the rest of the cards feel like they're reliable enough removal as is. Especially since the Dragonclaw Pendants power up regular combat damage too.

If you're playing the spell only variant (IE the only right way of playing it), I think the best way to win with the deck would be:

>Altered Fate your hand to hopefully draw into Reckoning
>Drop fat nasty loads on them
Though seeing as this is a bit slow, I've considered running Roost in order to AF and Reckoning in the same turn, as well as drop Satan earlier. This will require further testing.
