That's not true. Both Female Slayer subs were pretty shitty at their release (Mom was weak without heavy funds and didn't even have IS, DS was just all sorts of shit) but were still well received and became popular. They were so popular that they got their other two subs before Thief and Male Mage did and didn't have to wait years like those two subs had to (DT and Vagabond were added exactly one year after F. Slayer initial release).

I even saw F. Slayers everywhere in DFOG before they got their buffs that made them actually good. I even saw them more than Male Mages and Knights combined.

The Monsters in Luke Raid have so much HP that you're going to be using a majority of your kit to defeat just a Named Mob. It's not like Anton where if you're geared enough you can just use a few cube skills on a Named Mob and easily kill it. You need an item to reset your skills so that they're up for every fight.

Subclasses aren't like different talent trees. Once you pick one and do your first Awakening, you're stuck as that subclass. If you have a Knight and make her an Elven Knight, then do your Awakening, that character is forever an Elven Knight. You need a separate character if you want a Chaos.

Note that you can change your subclass for an increasingly large fee until you get to level 49(?), so you can try out the other subclasses a class has before settling on one. First change is free.

It's a level 75 shortsword on a percentage based physical class. (shortswords have terrible p.att)

Not to mention shortsword requires a 9pc chron set and stacking levels of ESSM which is expensive.

it also has a great niche in boat

it's also cheaper since you get a weapon and you're good to go

all of this for no benefit, you just get shit dps and that's all, shortsword SMs are all cucks
