once a day you can ask a villager from an amiibo card to give you a present right? Is there a limit to how many times that particular card is used?

What is the present anyway? Like a random piece of Furniture or Clothing or something you'd see in their house? Or is it always preset?

There's a ton of furniture in the RVs that's more related to room themes than just straight up "here's a wonky chair". Food items, garden stuff, bathroom stuff, items for making certain kinds of buildings (school/resturaunt/etc), very basic but customizable things like simple dividers... It's quite nice.

Do you have CFW?
I think luma or something set online access to restricted by default in parental controls to stop people from going online without checking if it's safe first on new cfw versions.

Just go set up parental controls, tick off restricted online, save it, exit and delete parental control settings.
