Is anyone else getting microstuttering or hitching in Overwatch? I was yesterday and I remember it being fine, and today was unplayable because I was suttering once every 10-20 seconds, despite me never dropping below 30fps.

I'm not sure if a patch dropped, or if the drivers suck, or my CPU is tired or what. I even tasked it higher CPU usage, closed all applications (since Overwatch seems to chug like ass with other programs open), and its still fucked up.

How to fix Ana and this shit tank meta:

- Biotic Grenade healing occurs over 1.2 second

- Sleep reduced from 5 to 4 second duration, but 7 seconds on headshot

- Healing from biotic grenade coated allies reduced from +100% to +60%

- Nanoboost now has unique boosts on Ana, Mercy, Lucio, and sombra

- Lucio gets both of his crossfade buffs active during nanoboost, Mercy has both of her staff's buffs and heals herself 10 HP on every shot fired from her pistol, and Ana shots heal all targets as if they were covered in biotic grenade, as well as blocking healing on shot enemies for 0.5 seconds

Not him, but it's really not that bad. I have overwatch on both PC and console and I can easily say people get angry a lot less on console (at least that you can see) because all the angry text chatters are gone. Plus using a controller with a big TV screen is pretty comfy. There's a lot less exploiters too, from what I've seen. I just seem to have more fun on console but play slightly worse because of the technical drawbacks.

Yes, that was broken and needed to be fixed. Symmetra's falloff range is 10 meters. The fact that an amped up speed boost doesn't get you away from the beam in time is fucking stupid. All she has to do is put out her shield so no one can shoot you as you chase them. In a narrow chokepoint (re: literally every map), this is not possible to counter. The only way to really deal with this is if you're Pharah, and even then she can still kill you if she manages to lock on.

Did you really just type that? The reason characters like Widowmaker and McCree aren't as useful in the pro scene at the moment is because they're too unforgiving in a meta that ultimately amounts to a game of footsies between two giant blobs of unkillable characters.

Only thing I don't like about playing Sombra is that teammates will switch off DPS for a 3rd healer. (Sombra is more of a support than attack hero in the same way that Symmetra is more defense than support)

Probably bait but:
As much shit as I give blizzard and overwatch, it's still a fun game. It looks beautiful, has interesting characters, fun maps, and a community that, while pretty bad at times, is a lot better than most other competitive games. I complain a lot about competitive, loot boxes, and balancing, it's fun and playing around with friends in both quick play and comp is fun, it's like tf2 but with more strategies to take and more characters to be interested in. The lore is pretty stupid though.

In conclusion, as much as I complain, I have to thank blizzard for giving me a game I actually enjoy playing frequently. Even though the game is pretty unbalanced right now, I still keep coming, because it's still fun, like a battlefront 2 sort of relationship.

It matters because if low skill heroes are as good (or flat out better) than high skill heroes you don't have to be a genius to see that then everyone will use low skill heroes only. Which is precisely where the tank meta comes from.

My point was even low skill heroes have a deserved place in the meta if they're good situationally. Then it just means if you want to play them, you have to play smart and hero switch based on the situation.

It's because his right-click is not reliable enough. At least with a hook, you have a guaranteed kill.

His RC is relatively short ranged too. He can't really one shot you with it unless it's a very specific sweet spot.
