If you see an isolated squishy target, jump on it and try not to miss shots since reloading takes forever. Use Q as soon as you're starting to lose hp in a fight.

I use pic related as my build. For burn cards I always go Mobility and Life Rip. Cauterize if they have a healer, Deft Hands if they don't. Illuminate if you're fighting Sha Lin and/or Skye, Haven if Cassie, Viktor, or Tyra are giving you trouble.

Hi-Rez is actually better at balance than Blizzard IMO. They sort of have opposite problems. Blizzard makes huge changes and ends up making a few OP heroes that dominate the meta. Hi-Rez makes smaller changes and ends up making a few underpowered heroes usually.

It's usually bad. Haven/Blast Shield counters it really well and it doesn't have a good return on investment on most characters (high single shot damage characters sometimes are okay with it). Reload speed usually is better (for characters it applies to) if there's no shields or healer or deployables that need dealing with.

But don't forget that you don't need a red card at all. If you're playing a healer, it'd be better to upgrade something else like Chronos instead.

If you have a good healer, rejuvenate can be very useful. Just remember to bodyblock the totems and illusions off from the enemy so they can't destroy it.

Cauterize is the only red card worth getting on him. His flamethrower does low damage but he can hit an entire team with it if they are clustered together and will completely shut down their healer.

If the other team has a Drogoz (who 9 times out of 10 will target you with his ult) getting morale boost instead of chronos might be a good idea to counter his ult.

In an average game, chronos and damage reduction are fine. Just don't ever get in the habit of picking items without looking at the team comps first.

Yep, it's additive. So you hit someone with Fireball, that's -50%, then hitting them with normal fire is another -30% for -80% total. With Caut2, it maxes out at -100%. Similarly, Fireball (-50%) + Brand 4 card (-20%) + Caut1 weapon fire (-30%) maxes it out to -100%.

Ancient Resolve 4, Barrier Reef 4 are the key cards. You want your shield to last long enough for it to be destroyed for sure, since it's unlikely you'll be facing Wreckers as solo tank Makoa. If it does get consistently destroyed, and with Chronos 3, your shield has a 3s cooldown. The shield ain't as strong as Nando's, but you can shit them out like crazy lategame, as well as actually being able to protect whoever's inside from any direction.
The key is to get people to actually have to shoot at it, so always be near someone and shield whenever they face danger, Ruckus being your best friend since people always see him as a free target. During pushes, your team tends to stay grouped, so that's another golden opportunity. Actually actively protecting allies, who'd have thought?

Her weapon can do a good bit of damage if you're good at tracking.
Keep yourself and illusions alive. Your deck should be focused on illusion health and uptime. Place illusions far apart and in places where they're not likely to get shot at (behind obstacles, corners, etc.) but can still heal allies. They also stop Drogoz' ult, so always try spawning one into his path before he hits you/an ally.
Use Dimensional Link to either get away from danger, or get illusions back up quickly via Rewind.
NEVER use Shatter unless you absolutely need the damage and/or enemy team has lots of anti-healing with higher Cauterize levels and other effects.
Ultimate really helps in team fights. You can also Dimensional Link to the crystals the ult spawns, and since it's global range, if you die you can ult in spawn and Dimensional Link right back into the fight.

...Or you can be an idiot and run a Shatter build.

Stick with the frontline, buff up your illusions, swap places when they get low, increase the range of the casting to avoid damagers, try to place an illusion close to your flankers or their escape route once you take the point, only use shatter during your ultimate, buy chronos, resilience and cauterize.

When they focus you sometimes it's safer to run to the point with your frontline and make a stand because you're not going to get far trying to run. Spam cute emotes.

Matchmaking at anything above 2.5k elo is complete and utter hell. I'd rather wait 10 minutes for a game than to get stuck with 1.6k elo skye pickers who don't use ult all game.

Also - matchmaking in this game in general is absolutely retarded. It's literally impossible to have a decent team vs a decent team - one or two people from either team will always be underperforming awfully.

She can deal huge amounts of damage if she has a frontliner to protect her or a damage to support her. She is, at the moment, the best healer that requires little to no skill, but a good Mal Damba/Grover may sometimes outheal her.

Her dimensional link can be used for either running away or doing combos for more damage, but you are still very fragile, especially with your dimensional link on cooldown. The best way to play Ying is to stick to your teammates, and only go alone if the enemy team is full of actual retards.

Use your shatter when everybody around you is fully healed, or your illusions are on very low HP, and you're going to put new illusions immediatly after.
Don't be a retard and stuck to being a healslut, because no support is actually a full on healer.
Take by example Grover, he can deal huge amounts of damage, and decent healing., but still take care of your teammates like they're small children.

Don't be retarded and go alone after a low HP enemy, because most of the time their teammates will come to help them.

Chronos is the best burn card for Ying, it helps you place illusions faster, thus making you more useful.
If your allies won't group up with you, or you have no frontliner (Ruckus doesn't count, Ruckus isn't a real frontliner without a good healer and at least one good flanker/damage), try to keep your distance from enemies, and throw exploding illusions in their face.
