Otohime lost value, I don't think it's a good card in a control deck. The real value is Aurelia and the gold cards. Alwida and Frontguard are must. Charlotte is underwhelming, and I personally don't like White Paladin.

I use Amelia x2, I don't want to craft a third one until I have formed an opinion on the card. I feel like she's there to have a T4 when you're first, but she's a T4 evo bait more than anything, and I'm not sure I like that. It's a good card against bat aggro I think, so I guess it's worth running her.
I don't really understand the card, I think I miss something, besides muh value 6/6 stat for 4 when you're swarmed.

The daily crystal deal aint that bad.

Compare a pack prize in online CCG's and you'll find 1 dollar a pack pretty fine.

In comparison 1 pack in HS costs 1,5 dollar
and i think hex is 2 dollar a pack (then again thats a TCG)

Again, the base values aint bad when you think in daily deals, and some of the sales make this 3x. So the best crystal sal here was a pack for 0,3 dollars.

Honestly can you say a pack for 0,3 dollars is a meh price? Because you certainly aint gonna find something better around the corner for sure.

Card games in general are a fucking scam, so comparisons don't really mean much to me. I prefer looking at it in absolute terms: How much extra fun I get when playing if I spend money. Current deal is 600 crystals for $4, right? That's 12 packs, or around 5500-6000 vials. If you really need to craft two more legos to finish a deck, it's nice. But it kinda feels like a drop in the ocean if you want to craft one of the decks that goes towards 30k vials and up. It will get you stuff, but whether it will directly contribute to you having more fun is up in the air.

For good value, I mostly look at premade decks, since those can easily make the difference between whether you can afford to craft exactly the deck you want.

Taboo professor was obviously a good thing, but even i was surprised at how good he is because his rite can actually activate every turn as long as you feed him dirt.

His high health makes him extremely tough to deal with behind wards for most decks outside of hard removals which cost momentum to use, which is gonna let you cast yuno's (as you can see in your webm)

Also the dwarf is bretty gud too. Dirt rune might not officially be a tier 1 deck, but i think it honestly could be tier 2 atm.

Has the Street Fighter syndrome. CCGs right now have a lot of parallels with the FGC. SFV has lots of issues both core gameplay wise and business wise, that the only thing that's stopping the playerbase from dropping it is the brand recognition.

Of course, it's not as polarizing as the FGC case, every other fighting game that isn't named Street Fighter, even if they're a better product is really struggling to get more players. Some of them like Guilty Gear have a following, but they lose the momentum after a few weeks. Since CCGs are more causal friendly, SV isn't being left in the dust and there's a sizable growth to the playerbase every week.

Also, there's the issue of anime artstyle putting off people. I think it's stupid, but I've accepted that there are people allergic to these things.

I'd say dwarf is arguably better than Taboo.
Taboo might be an amazing tool that allows you to just end enemy boards and turn it into huge boards of your own, but Dwarf is a good 2 drop and gives earth rite consistency.

He puts a 1pp earth rite in your hand so you have it ready to play whenever you need it, which is amazingly useful. It means you never have to worry about playing a follower and losing boardspace even after it dies, ala crafty wizard.
And his evolve is fantastic, getting an earth rite user from a follower that gives you an earth rite is just huge, it means that you have a method of countering bricking other than 'draw and pray'

However I'd honestly say earth rite is in a worse position than before.
Bahamut just shits all over them and Ramp Dragon is basically an auto-lose.
