I played 300 games with Irelia while maintaining a 60+% win rate dude. Yes she's powerful and has very synergistic builds but that doesn't mean she's necessarily exciting. While there is some nuance to her kit (ulting as you Q to prime creeps etc) I felt like she was pretty binary after a while. She will always be my go to tryhard pick though.

Havent registered for next term's courses yet.
Aced two courses, failed two courses.

i began playing league a month ago. i'm level 28 but it feels like i should be level 2. completely new to moba, it's an entirely new concept to me but this game has pretty much been my past month. it's taken over my life, but i am such a trash player.

does anyone have any tips? i keep feeding. it seems like i'm missing something obvious but to me it looks like my choices are either miss out on cs or die, and both choices end up losing my lane.

i feel like i have zero lane presence. how do i increase my lane presence?

i'm fond of characters like xin zhao and irelia, fighters/bruisers. the last time i played xin zhao i ragequit because i managed to get a kill under my tower, only to have the person i killed teleport onto a minion right under the tower and destroy me with my 30% remaining health. irelia can go either way. characters like rumble and darius mess me up. i lost pretty hard to a master yi in top the other day.

as support i play soraka, who is a lot of fun, it feels like she falls pretty heavily late game though. i'm thinking of trading her in for another support character.
i've also been playing malphite on top, but i still feed, despite the fact that i've heard him being described as an easy tank to play.

i'm thinking of buying twitch, as well. would anyone say that's a bad idea, is there a better adc? it's kind of a toss up between him or jinx, who i also like a lot, i've picked her up the last two times she was free, and actually had really good games despite being garbage at this game.

Jungle is the strongest role right now. But if you play a laner just focus on CS. Go into a custom game and learn CSing (WITHOUT AD RUNES). If you just practice CSing you'll move up. Although if you are getting fucked you have to know when to sacrifice CS obviously.

Look at your minimap every 5 seconds, it's not your other lanes job to tell you to be careful that there might be someone mia. I mean, it is, but you can't rely on anyone so get used to it yourself. Minimap. Look at it.

Learn about trading in lane, presence in lane, juking skillshots, landing skillshots. There is a lot, just comes with playing. I'd say for the moment, learn what every hero does. Once you get that down you can get to mechanics.

Alternatively you can just play Janna and you WILL climb the ladder. FAST.

Much as I love Camille, she's terribly impractical. Fortunately, I enjoy things with fucked up designs like Bayonetta and JoJo, so my suspension of disbelief is sky high.

Still, for her sake, I hope she's employed some invisible, holographic stilts behind her blade-points, like she was wearing stilletos.
That or there is some centre-of-gravity unit that balances out her weight while she's on her legs.

if you want lane presence, you should be looking to attack the enemy when they go in for cs and then back off until your abilities come up again.

if you're playing bot lane or top lane, duck into the bushes to drop minion aggro. Learn how to manage your minion waves so you can get an advantage

Start practicing not feeding on malphite, the beauty of this champ is that no matter how little gold you have you will still be at least 60-70% of your top performance just with your levels alone. Plus you can just build tank stats so you will be hard to kill regardless

Prioritize the following
HP>EXP>gold

If you can't last hit without losing a lot of hp then don't
If you can't get exp without losing a lot of hp then don't
If you are losing a lot of hp then stop doing that and do something else.

Your life and experience are the most important things, the worst mistake you can do is go in for a creep, lose 500 hp and then die losing out on a wave or two. Just wait for the wave to push in if you are in unsafe position to farm. 1 creep is rarely worth more than 1 or max 2 auto attacks worth of damage to your HP (if you have shield up then you can eat up an ability just fine)


Just few games like this in ultra pussy mode, focus on the exp and taking creeps you can take without losing a lot of hp/when your passive is up and being safe. You will obviously lose lane but that's not a big deal, just ult people in fights and you should be fine.

Go 12/0/18 masteries, build sunfire as your first item against anyone, if you are against lots of magic damage then build negatron cloack and then the HP component of sunfire into sunfire. For runes build towards the standard AP page (magic pen/armor/mr/AP)

As for the rest of the build, get 1 MR item (Abyssal is good) and 3 more health/armor items and either merc threads or ninja tabi depending on the situation, the order being dependent on who is fed on the enemy team

Once you manage not to die in lane that much, start practicing trading. Try to press E every time the enemy is in range and doesn't have some kind of shield up, press E when the enemy tries to fight you along with Q and W if he really tries to fight.

I've lost multiple games now because i get this weird disconnect. It happens every two minutes and it just makes animations and inputs stop. Ping stays at 50 the entire time, I can still see healthbars decrease/increase, and people still slide around a bit.

The disconnect/reconnect thing doesn't even pop up. Anyone else ever get this crap? It's happened so many times now.
