Also it's hard to decisively prove that gameplay advice is correct if you don't post any evidence like parsers or maths to back it up, which I rarely see happening here. You wanna know why OH is fucking trash?

I'll tell you.

1. No leader.
No one listens to anyone and its just a bunch of people doing there own shit and a leader sets standards and has the final say which was needed.

2. Secret groups.
Soon as shit like secret Discord channels start appearing the whole group goes to shit because its constant backstabbing and sniping at each other, Soon as I joined OH I had someone complaining to 3 of us about a certain member.

3. No balls.
If someone fucked up or had shit affixes they wouldn't tell them they would complain to other members of the group and this is where secret groups come into play and then you get MPA's where they purposefully avoid someone.

The group had loads of helpful people specially glgln and Kolb when he wasn't crying over something and then you get members who just don't speak in the fucking game at all until it's MPA time then they would interact.


Honestly just avoid that group as a new player because if you're not up to standards they'll shit talk you behind your back over and over.

There are no rockets chasing you, first of all. Either you're crashing into shit or you're falling too far behind and getting blown up.

WASD controls elevation and strafing, Mouse controls direction.
Left click to move forward, JA it to go faster. Right click makes you do a spinning melee attack. This deflects mother's spinning panel attacks.
Jump to quickly boost up/down/sideways.

Just aim at Mother's weak points to fire your normal gun at them.

1 launches a volley of homing missiles.
2 activates Overboost, which you need to use to keep up if you're falling behind.

Doing ANYTHING ELSE besides normal movement during these skills will cancel them out.

Hunter's weapons have come a long way. Swords actually have a pretty in-depth set of PA's available to you, with the crafted ones being great. You have a lot of mobility and decent damage.

Braver, on the other hand, feels really limited and the damage is pretty garbage. Gurren spam is the most basic, and brainless, playstyle available that produces good results.

I'd honestly stick with Hunter, if only because you can never go wrong with having Hunter leveled as a subjob at some point, and it just plays a lot better than Katana Braver.

If you plan on playing es with any kind of seriousness, kind of, yet not. Yami is a really, really desirable chip to have because of its frame, pwand because of its cp reduction, both because of high count dual element (yami dark+ice, pwand light+dark). spread needle in general is quite strong.

"Yet not" because having the relevant eq chip for double drops makes doing eqs much more viable if you have the op recharge count for it (and have an active friends list to send you triggers/clear your triggers). Being able to onepass SH is more important now though.

I know how it works, because I tested it. Prior to advance tekking there wasn't actually a situation where you would combine a +32 or higher with another +32 or higher, so +31 and +33 should've realistically made +35 since +30 cap is 1 weapon , +31 cap is (was) 2, but it's not how it works.

I used to raid in FF14, it's an okay WoW clone that looks better and has good waifus.
I quit because they just don't push out enough content to keep you busy enough for the 13$ a month costs. You get a new raid with 4 fights (half of which are always trivial) every 7-8 months, the rest is all just casual content you can clear the day it comes out. There isn't much depth to gearing and nothing that sets you apart from anyone else, everything is really easy to get. Can't say much about the story because I always skipped it, there is a retarded amount of fetch quests everywhere that the game forces you to do to progress though, almost all content is locked behind at this point hundreds of hours of obnoxious story quests.

Levelling to max level is a fucking nightmare because you are forced to do shitty storyquests.

There's a difference between having to pay to keep playing, which I did with FF14 for like 3 years and on WoW for 6, or just buying premium for 30 days when I think I'll play a ton of PSO2 the next couple weeks.
FF14 simply didn't offer anywhere even remotely enough content to keep me playing. I'm not going to spend 13$ a month to log in once every Wed only to spend an hour reclearing 4 bosses for loot tokens.
