IIRC you were provided with a link to a chart showing the various grow times for different seeds and told that fertilizer decreases the time for a plant to mature by 1 hour each time you use it. So while some plants might be able to reach maturity in 18 hours if you were to fertilize them religiously, that's not necessarily the case. Gardening is a passive thing like airships or your gc squadron. If you want to generate money faster then go gather or craft shit or play the market.

DRK does the highest main-tank damage of all the tanks, and is the best tank from a defensive standpoint for tanking heavy magical damage.

WAR does higher damage overall but gains a lot of its offensive power by sacrificing defensive power (to a greater degree than the other tanks) so their damage falls off pretty badly if they try to tank anything that requires more mitigation than Holmgang and Thrill of Battle will allow*.

PLD is ostensibly the "defensive" tank and specializes in tanking physical damage, but in practice they're not really meaningfully more capable at tanking anything than the other two.


*Unless a fight's script works out so that using Vengeance/Raw Intuition offensively just so happens to also line up with where you want them for mitigation but that's a whole separate post worth of discussion.


Basically, DRKs are main tanks, WARs are off tanks, and PLDs sit in the corner and convince themself that things are going to turn around in Stormblood.
