Hello /svg/, Hearthstone player here getting into Shadowverse.
I'm curious on your views about Shadowverse selling pre-built decks. See, with Hearthstone, being a new player is extremely shit, since all the basic cards don't have much impact in the current meta and it is pretty slow to accumulate packs daily. People are constantly complaining about it.
I think that Shadowverse, by introducing these pre-built decks, sort of alleviates the struggle of newcomers entering the game on later expansions since they can have a decent deck right out of the bat. I think Hearthstone would greatly benefit from having those as well.

Game is dead, the good classes are the same at all times, and they overpowered cards for classes that are already dominating. The only good balance decision they ever made was making Haven playable.

Never was a struggle to begin with.
You can build the most expensive meta deck in the game without even rerolling right off the bat if you just liquefy everything. You can build a tier 2 deck that doesn't even require golds.

basically I think that people are majorly overreacting and daria is only tier 2 at best. it's an aggro deck with very little storm damage and low individual value cards. almost all of your shit gets 2 for 1 or even 3 for 1 to evolve play so from turn 4-6 you'll be doing very little damage, and beyond that you're in a situation where your best play is dropping a couple 3/4s and hitting end turn.

The game was already generous enough that new players could quickly get to strong decks, completely netdeck if they didn't mind playing only one deck or close enough if they didn't mind playing with substitutes (but allowing them to play multiple decks). Also I don't think new players will want to drop money on the game if they haven't played it for a while. So I think that the most people who are going to buy them are people who want the exclusive art (along with emblem or sleeves) or people who just want to get a legendary they're missing and don't want to/can't drop vial on.

It's the combination of Daria, Piercing Rune, Levi, and the fact that Fate's Hand and Ogler are free when pulled by Daria. Take also the possibility of Flame Destroyers coming down with that shit at the same time and it's busted.
It's probably the most massive tempo swing in the game now, and to top it off your hand is refilled.
It's like how Aria and Garuda singlehandedly created a T1 deck. Now it's Daria and Piercing Rune.

I shouldn't be allowed to shit more followers than Sword while having clearing spells from hand AND Daria as a safe net, I also shouldn't be able to play 8~11 power by turns 3~4 on a regular basis without using evos.

Honestly, speaking of Storm Haven, I feel like Tempo Rune will be the same kind of thing. Obviously Tempo goes for board control more than going face, but they're both decks that can be really overwhelming when they curve well due to their method of play (amulets vs spellboost) allowing for relatively little counterplay while they set up their board and their massive tempo swings.
I think Tempo Rune honestly flops over even harder than Storm does when it doesn't curve well though. I have no doubt the deck will be T1, but people are kneejerking based on a tiny sample size while I'm still sitting here dubious of its consistency.

Spell boost cost reductions are honestly retarded.
It's fine on some cards, but shit like 0 PP destroy anything, 0 PP draw 2 cards, 0 PP summon a 7/7 etc etc.
I'll say this while i'm salty as shit, Spellboost is the strongest mechanic in Shadowverse.

Daria is what we call bad balance. It's what we call Format Warping.
Shadowverse is a bunch of cards that were not supposed to exist and warp the format on their own. PTP, Roach, Daria, dshift,...
What's next? I don't want to see. I'm dropping this game and anyone that cares about their mental health should do so before realizing the horror that is constantly happening in this fucking cardgame.

daria and levi are the only solid cards in the deck because they do something the turn you play them. a 3/4 for free sounds strong, but a lot of the time it won't even do anything. it's like how you look at a lot of earth rune cards and think they're super strong, but then realize that the 3/3 golems die to basically everything and won't even get to attack most of the time.

storm haven is completely incomparable. garuda can easily do 20 instant damage with as few as 6 cards. garuda + birdsong is 6 right there, or 8 with an evolve. with daria you play your free stuff, but then you have to hope that your opponent doesn't kill them, and the top tier decks in the meta all have ways to deal with it. at most you'll have a 2/2 left, and an empty hand with no strong plays to close out the game.

Matriarch is great when it works, but I personally don't like it. I've had more luck with Hungering Horde because it can actually be played on curve going second against Royal for Otohime. I have burned an Elf player's board for lethal twice today, though. This card seems like pure preference.
I tried Squall Lancer but rarely got use of the Vengeance part of her effect. Granted I've only been playing for a few hours, but I was previously more successful just running Erinyes. Additionally, the 2 face damage from Erinyes helps a lot as well.
As for Warfiend, I didn't bother trying him yet because Alucard just seems more useful for closing out a game or healing. I've played Control and Midrange Vampire for a while and Alucard is one of the most solid game closers, while still being able to fight back for the board without an evolution.

So I've been messing around with a midrange blood for the past couple hours.
Veight is good, very solid. He either demands hard removal or produces ridiculous value. Also he combos so well with Vania, Queenie, and Matriarch.
Hungering Horde is alright, its token-destruction effect is cool, but mainly 3dmg for 2pp is so useful for conserving your board. But it does absolutely wreck rune.
Matriarch is real nice, especially since it is now really fucking hard to clear out all those bats because of Veight. You generally take out 2-5 things when dropping her and if they don't kill her, they lose. She's basically a board-type mary. Also it is hilarious dropping Mary into her or vice versa, it's stupid deadly.
I tried out Sadistic Night but dropped it. It is nearly hard removal, but outside of control you just don't have the healing to make it worthwhile and the existence of other, honestly better, removal really just makes it iffy. That being said, it might find a place in control and using it at 12hp is sex.
I fought against a few flood behemoths, and the fact that it can't hit things behind wards it kills with its clash basically ruins it. My Queenies were fine from him, so he's garbage.
I haven't played around or seen with Squall, Demoness, Warfiend, Wolfman, Axe, or Moriana, so I can't say how they are, but none of them look very good.
But then there's Yurius.
Yurius is amazing.
1/3 makes him really difficult to remove and makes him trade evenly with basically all 1-2 drops. He often forces lots of removal or very awkward trades. If not he gets completely crazy. He fucks aggro blood, he fucks storm haven stupid well we're talking Cudgel on Shadow levels of fucking. He wins me games.
It's felt good to be blood. The real hard thing here has been what cards to keep and what to cut, right now I'm trying one without any hard removal. It's been working pretty well except if rune drops fattys, then it can be awkward sometimes.
