This is why you use Hybrid meta. Physical tends to supply the Imperils and then mages gain SB faster from hitting weakness. The Imperil change that happened in JP is going to make this better, and we're only getting more and more good hybrid buffs or ATK or MAG buffs respectively are becoming more commonplace on more characters so that you can run both in a party.

Hybrid plainly means you can use your best equipped mages and best equipped physicals together without starting to draw on the 4th best for some shit.

Depends. Hanging edge had players farm for currency, which could be spent on materials.

Currency dropped at a pitiful amount (200 average) and it costs ~7200 for a full set of materials to awaken 1 character (5* to 6*)

You got more currency by bringing FFXIII characters, but that required a bit of carring since most of the XIII crew were either underleveled or trash.

best farming scenario was probably using 6 lightnings.

I think those two don't get along according to Dissidia text. Seeing as Cloud is a manifestation of the void/something born from it, and Exdeath is something that controls it, I don't see them getting along.

The void is a pretty frightening thing, I don't think I truly understood how encroaching and all consuming it was until Rhapsodies from FFXI - but even as Exdeath dies (at least in the shitty english translation, I don't know about Japanese text) he says 'What is void?" which means he probably doesn't fully understand it, which means CoD is probably right in that regard.

Explain how you hit for more damage with that burst command when each hit has a .49x multiplier before bonuses. In theory you can outdamage it (if you're averaging over 20k per use), but a multiplier that low per hit means that's only feasible against easy enemies.

Meanwhile even against the absolute most absurdly tanky things in the game I can still have PCecil hit for 9999x2 with EnHoly Saint Cross.

I saw Prince Noctis at the store in Hammerhead yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.

He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”

I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to warp out the doors with like fifteen Cup Noodles in his hands without paying.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be in stasis and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the cups and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any empirical nifetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each cup and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
