Lads, I've been using a Gateway via menuhax on my O3DS, but have a N3DS coming tomorrow which I'm going to put a9lh + Luma on, but I'd really like to keep a couple of saves from the Gateway. I believe it's possible (if not easy) to convert them to work with a CIA version of the same title, but is it possible to transfer them to the new 3DS too? I've read a ton of stuff and still am not clear on the process, or whether they're locked to a system.

Importing my save file as main.sav corrupts the save on the VC Cia and makes it initialize again.
All I get when I tried to export (to test what happens) are a .dat file and a regular file named Secure Value.

I've been following the flimflam69 tutorial, and am now done with dumping the nand for rednand.
The guide then tells me to copy back the files I backed up, which I have done, and then to start Haxchi.
This does not boot into emunand (can I call it that?), it just goes directly to the mocha menu as if I were pressing B.
Pressing the home button to get out of mocha also black screens the wii u, forcing me to reset.

Where do I go from here?

To run, you go to smea's site, get the otherapp for your firmware and name it otherapp.bin (assuming you already have starter kit, if you don't, get it), then put it on you sd root. Then put the sound file anywhere, go to music app and run it.

No it doesn't. Freeshop is a glorified graphical user interface that scrapes information from their public facing CDNs. Freeshop doesn't decrypt the games so it isn't "circumventing" the access control.

Make sure you're on latest Luma.
Make sure you're at least on 11.x
Make sure you don't have a firmware.bin inside "luma" folder

If all of these checks and you're still fucked, you're on emunand. You shouldn't be using custom boot menus. Otherwise I can't help further, but I recommend moving to a9lh to avoid further problems, emunand a shit.
