Me and my friend instalock Genji and Hanzo every time just to prevent others from doing it. We switch to fill and round up a good teamcomp just before the game starts on attack or when everyone's on the point on defence. Sometimes they just switch to them next death but usually not. I know there are good Genji and Hanzo players out there and it's a shitty thing to do but with the amount of shitty ones we see we're not taking that chance.

I've been thinking about different strategies for using sombra. Getting behind enemy lines and attacking/hacking/teleporting works ok in groups, but not solo queue. Do you guys think it would be better to stick around the team in solo queue as sombra? I wonder if it would be a good strategy to stick around the backlines with the healers while still being moderately stealthy. Waiting for an enemy flank or push, then hacking them while they're too busy fighting my team. Stopping a reinhardt charge is probably one of the most satisfying hacks to accomplish

Just tell them to switch to healer or tank if they think that those roles will win the game. You can't be blunt with trenchlords, they get defensive and shutdown. You have to suggest that someone switches instead of demanding them.

My win rate on Ana is abysmal (like 35%) and I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. My aim is good and according to masteroverwatch I'm in the top 5% of healing done. I used to play a lot of Soldier in tf2 so I'm used to staying on the ground and mostly use the jetpack to get an upper hand on unsuspecting enemies and general maneuvering.

Meanwhile most Pharahs complain about a sniper or McCree shooting them down and fail to realize that the jetpack gives them an upperhand but also makes them extremely vulnerable to sharpshooters.

Where devs and/or fans make barebones map layouts which everyone can play, then give feedback on, and the most popular ones are chosen to be finalized and put into the actual game. It's taking me 5+ minutes to find a match in Arcade and even when I'm on one everything is rubber banding like crazy; I was flying with DVA and pinned by a Rein on the ground, I hooked and shot a Lucio as a Roadhog and the bullets curved passed him, and my Widow's shots are hitting the oppents models but not even damaging them unless I shoot an inch to the left.

I play on both and it depends how you want to see it but generally yeah. There's a whole tier of difference though, so gold on PC is like the same level of play as Platinum on console etc. I can't speak for the highest levels of console because I'm master there but maybe console grandmasters at the very very top are as good as grandmasters on pc.

That's my point; her design is flawed, but passable in my opinion, but she plays like shit which is far worse. There's so much you could you do with a tech-spy but they don't.

Hacking is pretty much useless; You can't do it while being shot at, and even if you get it off, you'll still be shot at, and usually killed before you can teleport away (if you didn't use your teleport to get behind them.) The only useful thing I've seen it do is keep Bastions out of turret mode, but YOU CAN'T EVEN HACK THE OTHER TURRETS.

Invisibility is cool, but it's so easy to get caught and it's pointless with hacking being useless. As soon as you're behind an enemy, you'll die on your own.

In TF2 there was so much more they did with the same concept that gave you options for mindgames and tricking opponents. Overwatch is set up as an entirely different gameset, but it still shows there's interesting things that CAN be done.

I have played like 20 hours of Sombra in QP and I think the most awkward part of her kit is that even if you don't use a placed Translocator it is still put on CD

Like if I place a Translocator on a health pack and then I end up not needing to use it I really think the ability should be available again straight away if the Translocator expired

That brings us back to the problem of comp, though. The tanks might give a shit about getting hacked, but this is definitely a frontline meta. Sombra can't hack a tank from a distance where she doesn't just get murked, and even a hacked tank is better than a 5v6.

The issue is that Sombra's best at hacking from the back up, since any damage interrupts. So at the tank you're hacking is probably towards the back of the team comp, either because they're going back for health, or regrouping onto a point.
So you end up having hacked the enemy Rein, D.va or any other tank, but you're behind their whole team, having to solo-fight the hacked tank. Sombra's damage is so inconsistent that you're probably going to just lose the fight, and force the tank to wait out the remainder of the 6 seconds.

Feeling blue

Okay so here's how to fucking fix Sombra without being lazy about it and simply buffing her damage:

- Make the Translocator projectile move faster
- Translocator's 6 second CD starts from the moment you throw it, not from the moment you use it. So if you throw the Translocator and don't use it for first 6 seconds you can throw another immediately after using the first one.
- Hacking CD reduced from 12 to like 6-8, nerf the duration a health pack stays hacked so it's not too strong
- She can now hack out of invisibility without breaking it, howere enemies can still see the purple hacking tendrils so it's easy to damage her if she tries to hack an enemy from invis
