you can mana break out of a combo just to caught again not to mention the massive amount of lag most players have that aren't next door to the server. Have had plenty of times when i caught them off and the leg didnt register the hit and the tables get turned on me.
I still like the game because the pvp was easy and leveling wasnt that bad but then i just turned into another episode of money buys the best gear/costumes which can also give ridiculous stats.

If the mmorpg focuses heavily on PvP, then you're literally just playing an arena brawler or can just play a moba since there's shit world building and the lore/story ain't worth shit.

If the latter you might want to try XIV, crafting is pretty interesting there (though it can be kind of grindy to get the best crafting gear, but if you played Runescape you can stomach it). And more importantly the crafting classes all level independently and don't require combat levels...Aside from the first 10. Though you have to go through the whole shitty story and awful combat to get to the level 50+ crafting stuff.
