Yep. Not having one installed hard limits you to around 170km/h, depending on your gearing.

I did extensive testing with a 3.0 gear ratio, and the windshield exploded every single time I hit full circle + 30. There seems to be a hard cap on speed. If you lift satsuma up with the tractor and get in, you'll hit the same windshieldexploding speed, but it won't explode. The speedo will just read 30km/h no matter your RPM and stop there. Say you edit in a ratio of 2.0, you might reach the speedcap in the middle of 3rd gear, but then it'll stop. Your revs will keep going until the limiter, but there's a definite speed cap in the game. I'm guessing the exploding windshield is either a conscious design choice to limit speeds to keep the physics from spazzing out, or it actually IS the physics spazzing out. Hard to say.

On the road, yes, but not when you're lifted up like I was. A car geared to 1.0 will accelerate lightning quick and reach its top speed in a matter of seconds, cold or hot. Test it for yourself. Grab a save editor, edit your gear ratio to something stupid, then use kekmet to lift Satsuma a notch or two above the ground, just so you can get in and start her.

There's nothing different, the brakes aren't on, so it should be fucking going, but it just won't move. The engine starts, I can shift gears, but it won't fucking move at all.

What RPM value do you guys set your shift light to? I'm just finally moving away from stock parts, got racing carb and headers as well as all the gauges, so I'm still getting used to the specifics. I typically try to run at 3-5k for cruising, no idea what the safe upper-limit is. Have the shift light set to about 6.5-7k right now, thoughts?

Also, what fuel/air ratio do you guys use? I see about 15 recommended a lot

I spent 5 minutes in google and found LameXP, lets you batch convert mp3 files to ogg files, I even set it to 150kb/s for that authentic radio quality

I've got half a dozen albums now (some nordic metal, a top gear anthems album, a best of onitial d album among them) as .ogg

Then I just used bulk rename utility, set 'delete n' to 99 so the files would all first lose their filenames, then set 'name all' to 'track,' and set 'numbering' on and set it to 'suffix,' hit enter, and bam entire groups of files renamed into track1, track2, track3 ogg files

It literally takes me 2 minutes to create 20-40 songs whenever I should please, and i have folders within the /radio/ folder with all the albums I have to swap 'em in and out when i want different songs. All this took me 5 minutes of googling to find.

Whichever fuckers still can't into their own music, I hope this post lets you use your own shitty music of probably shitty taste.

As for me I'm 12 hours in, got it christmas day, and till not got the car working.

I knew how to build a car going in, but I'm an American and I've only driven sick like twice. I got a wheel for Christmas and I've managed to kill myself twice, I keep putting it in the non-existent 5th instead of third, and I blew up the engine once. Ferndale is easy to drive now.

Why the fuck won't my car move? It's full of all of the fluids it needs, the engine runs fine, it can shift gears, but the thing refuses to move when I press the pedal. The breaks aren't on, there's nothing blocking it, I've tuned it, so what the fuck?

You can't have a program make every random video perfectly sized webm's that you can post on 4chan. webm for retards is the easiest you're going to get since it was basically made for 4chan. Well if you can into hex editor it's pretty easy to delete shit you don't need from items.txt in the save folder.
You can also just delete it. Game will make new one and reset everything to just 1 peer crate and sausages that you get from the start.

It unironically does, though. Using the handle to open AND close doors, wow! Closing them at all was a major development in Hitman, a game where it really matters whether a door is open or closed. You don't even need to use the handle.
