Wen the time mage uses LB3 it should freeze the fight and all mechanics in place, delay the enrage timer by that amount of time, and allow the party to attack the boss in frozen time.

Red Mage will probably at best get something similar to Paladin, a large heal burst that it can only use occasionally.

I think it's more likely for their 'white magic' to just mean earth/wind/water attack magic in addition to the fire/ice/lightning of black magic. Hopefully they'll get some sort of support move. Don't they get a Haste or something ? It could be similar to an Arrow that gets put on the whole group. I mean, i at least hope they go through and give all of the DPS some sort of unique, cool buff to bring to the group.

Last time I didn't care enough about the new jobs enough to drop my main and level one of them immediately.

Red Mage, on the other hand, is something I want right the fuck now. I'll need to ask some of my friends if they will be willing to help burst level it from 50 to 60 when the early access starts, because it is seriously hype as fuck.

You can only play one job if you want. You'll most likely need to level some other classes a tiny bit to get some cross-class skills, but other than that no you will be fine just playing one job if you want.

I plan to only level one job to max in 4.0 so I can get really good at it instead of constantly switching my main every fucking patch like I have been in 3.0.

Originally was just the name of my half-elf Diviner in DnD, which was just the result of me trying to come up with something that was original and sounded elfish. When I played WoW I named my elf mage after him. When I started this game I named my character after my WoW character. Changed last name when I married my gf in-game though.

Eventually more people knew me by this name than my 'usual' internet handle, so I just switched my steam username over to it and go by it these days.
