The issue is that 11.0+ made it so it can't be downgraded under most circumstances. The reason why DSiware works is because it's allowed to write anywhere on the 3DS, so you get to bypass all that shit and send it through that way. You can still install some games with HB launcher if you have a entrypoint, I think.

I just know that you boot the decrypt9 payload using a9lh the option is there. You'll get some decrypted/encrypted titlekeys, you can share them to 3ds.titlekeys.com, they'll eventually get verified and put on there for other people to use. I'm fuzzy on details.

I dunno, it's been working so far. I put in the custom DNS to block Nintendo updates, and launch the web browser exploit to play the games off my SD card. The only real problem is that when I try to play one of my physical games, it says that there's an update and it can't download it, and then it forces me to offline play, when I read people were able to play stuff like Mario Kart 8 online just fine, provided they had the actual disc.

It is an outdated method, most people use Haxchi and WUPInstaller. Installs games to an external (or the Wii U's internal) HDD. Should be able to do updates this way as well. If not, just drop the DNS and update quickly, then reapply it.

Sorry for the late reply; Christmas and all that. But I finally updated Luma. I went ahead and updated my homebrew menu and stuff, too, while I was messing around. Still no a9lh, though.

It works now. I believe the culprit at the end of the day was my outdated Luma v5.5. Everything runs perfectly on v6.6. I have successfully exported my Pokémon SM saves. Thank you all so much for your help in narrowing down my problem. I hope you guys have a nice holiday.

You are overthinking things. Install from CDN just means download the game from nintendo's server, the title key allowed you to do that. The game will work fine. Freeshop is just a browser for all the titlekeys at once and lets you pick what to download instead of downloading individually through FBI.

What do they need browserhax for? The screen distortions are normal after the 2.1.0 ctrtransfer. Follow the rest of the guide. On the next page at "Section II - Installing arm9loaderhax" after loading that webpage, if they can't see the menu because of glitched screen, just press select like it says, wait 10 seconds (the install is fast) and power off. If the system is able to boot into luma by holding select then the install worked properly.

i resinstalled freeshop, but it still wont work. it loads the titlekeys, then an error occurs and the system reboots

how do i fix this?

it happens when it is trying to load the titlekeys

If you have the cia version of JKSM, I suggest you look up Mii Plaza Editor. It lets you edit your Play Coins to max.
