So you haven't pulled on anything? You only have the one 5* item that they give you during the tutorial?
There's a banner that shows up tomorrow night, do an 11x pull on that.
It's the first one in this image. It has a couple really important SBs for beginners on it like Shout and Stoneskin II, and almost everything else there is really good too (Steiner's armor is the worst but isn't that bad).

After you spend 50 on that, save up until you hit 50 again as fast as possible (shouldn't take long) so you can pull on one of the other banners. I'd recommend either banner 3, 5, or the XIV event banner that will show up around New Year's.
