Dragon decks don't actually have that many dragons. A lot of their cards are dragon synergy like Historian and Corrupter, or class staples. He's usually just a 4/5 with taunt that draws you 1-2 cards. Not horrible for 6 mana I guess, but I can't imagine him being OP, and certainly nothing I'd go out of my way to craft unless I was filthy rich.

I spend so much time playing around my opponent having a very specific card, that I end up losing anyway because the opportunity cost of playing around it was too high. This happens most frequently versus Reno decks, where the odds of them having any one specific card are low, but if they do have it then you lose the game. Also happens against Control Warrior and their 30 different removals. Caution has cost me a lot of games.

Where is the line, /hsg/?

What should I craft?

I play all decks so I don't want to limit myself, but what should I logically start from in this case?

Bloodmage is good, but doesn't feel that fun to play. Its probably the most versatile though.

Tirion and Jaraxxus are both class legendaries so they are limited.

Patches isn't all that great, not worth crafting.

Aya is pretty good if you want to play jade decks, Kazakus is good in Reno decks.

Thalnos is probably the best, Kazakus is the most fun.

They have synergy (mainly through the BRM dragon cards + Operative) and will pretty much win when they have board control.

Rogue is okay, it doesn't have over 60% win rate like a few decks (namely cancer).

Found all the faggots. If almost every top deck except Reno's play a card, its the best in the game, which Patches is. Only craft Kazakus if you enjoy fun or Reno decks.

Kazakus/Patches > Aya > Bloodmage > Jaraxxus (hes still cool and funny but fuck my life why did I craft him) > Tirion (more and more Blizzard invents ways to deal with him that will make you want to kill yourself)

Jaraxxus and Bloodmage are must haves, Kazakus is top tier fun, and the rest are memes that can safely be ignored unless you're a ladder grinding fuccboi.

As for Tirion; he used to be a must-craft, but playing this mother fucker these days is a guaranteed way to lose the game because he will either

a) be removed completely and your weapon destroyed by an Ooze
b) be stolen and used against you later in the game

He is the most high value card in the game, but right now we are living in a world where turn 8 is just a distant memory.

That's not really how it works. Imagine a 0 mana spell: "Draw a card". Just about every deck would play 2 of them, right? But it's certainly not the best card in the game, and if it was an epic that cost 800 dust to craft a playset of, I'd probably recommend holding off on crafting it, since it doesn't really add that much to a lot of decks.

Is going infinite even fucking possible? I've been playing Arena lately and my winrate is sitting at 5.13 average, even though it feels like I'm doing quite well in Arena, the rewards are total dogshit.

3/3 is bad for rewards, 5/3 is profitable over just playing constructed and buying packs because you pay 150 gold and you automatically get 1 pack and 45 gold back, as well as one of the following:

45-60 gold
45-60 dust
One common card
One rare card
One card pack

If it's a pack you made an entire 100 gold profit, assuming you were going to buy packs with the cold, and otherwise it's all good aside from the common card (5 dust is still worth at least 5 gold though).

If you enjoy the format 5 wins is always worth the entrance fee, but it still feels bad to get piddly rewards for outperforming 85% of all arena decks.

But I need to find my own way there. I need to do it my way, to prove that I can do something that the drooling horde of mouthbreathers on ladder could not. This isn't true. Most people are really bad at the game. Yes, there are many situations in which aggro shaman will "play itself", as in, the best possible play would be immediately obvious to nearly anyone, but there will also be decision making in which game knowledge will alter the win %.

I'm a multiple time legend player and when I first started playing I thought turn 1 smite face was a good play. People really suck, and they can't get to rank 5 no matter what deck they use, or for how long.

That's why I stopped worrying about overcommitting to the board when I'm playing aggro.

Fuck AOE. If they have it, I lose and just jump in another game. But if they don't have it, I win. And they don't have it more often than not.
I would say that I have like 25% more wins than I had while worrying that they would wipe my board. While I do lose occasionally because of that, I win more games that I would have lost by dragging them out too much and actually letting the enemy draw their removal.

Except Renolock.
Fuck Renolock. They always have all the removals from turn 1. Literally everything including Reno on 6 if they are low.
