the spectator experience leaves a lot to be desired currently
not sure if they can fix that because it seems quite inherit to the game

when you play yourself or watch someone play you only see a part of the game, you only focus on a couple things, its not super important or even possible to know what other people are doing

but as a fly over spectator you are seeing all 12 players, its a bit too chaotic and when things happen it happens all over and at the same time

i think thats a very valid concern

I think using ultimates is rated higher in the scale of POTG than standard kills, and I don't know why they would design it like this. All I know is that Rezzing is like 0.6, Environmental knock off is 2, and a standard kill is 1 and it all just adds up throughout the match and has the best thing.

I thought rez was the equivalent of 1 because it made sense, you kill someone; you bring someone back, but the numbers are skewed. A quadruple rez doesn't beat a triple kill, and I've experienced this.
There's more to it than that though because you can rez 4 people and if they all just die, you go no where. It seems to also be based off if the team does okay/well after the rez.

This was probably messed with since two months ago or whatever when like, a single rez meant so much more than anything else in the game so they've obviously tinkered with it and made it so it doesn't have as much of an impact on POTG potential as killing does since flying in to press Q to rez is easy.

How to make bastion not suck anymore:

- self healing no longer interrupted by damage, reduces heal rate to 17.5 per second for next 1.2 seconds without taking damage

- can move at half speed while healing self in recon mode

most turrets should be at the choke, or maybe the closest flank point to ward off potential flanks. put a couple at your shield/tele just for a heads up when its about to be attacked. as they move through the choke place more around the shield/tele for extra help defending it.

tele can be worth it on some maps. stuff like hanamura, hollywood, dorado. anything with an extra long time to get back to the fight, especially during the initial point.

Most of the time its not worth putting turrets near the generator if you hide it well enough. On small maps, maybe. The teleporter is extremely useful if your teammates coordinate well. Its best used on the first point of defense or the last point on attack, but if you're solo queuing and worried that your teammates aren't very good then the shield generator is a good buffer for their mistakes.
