Is it tomorrow that the NDA lifts? I'm going to have to cloister myself to avoid spoilers, and that's just going to make the wait harder.
>trying to win impossible ironman vanilla game before xcom 2
>won normal long war before, Think it will go okay
>getting raped hard
We should totally meet up.
In the novel there were some 1st gen ayys that were cryogenically stored or something, and they got activated as a security system of the Avenger when XCOM tried to secure it
and killed off plenty of characters from the story
Wasn't there still more locked chambers in the beginning of XCOM 2 though?
>bomb disposal on butcher map
>4 pods of floaters
>find bomb and deactivate
>had soldiers all spread out to anticipate thinmints
>they all spawn on the bomb building's roof
I can't sleep because it's only 3 days and 23 hours left now
while I played the original Dawn of War a bit I never really got into many of the expansions or DoW 2.
...they are collecting digital dust in my steam library though.
They even have similar color patterns on their uniforms.
I loved Dark Crusade, but that's because I'm filthy xenos scum. Tau Empire scum no less.
Because they let the AI turn on. They later cut it off from everything else.
So I doubt they'll fall for it's tricks again. Or accidentally awaken anything without triple-checking what they're waking
So if i were to lie in bed for a whole day tomorrow then it's like tomorrow almost
Tau fit nicely with the ADVENT design scheme.
why the fuck does this shit release on Friday instead of Tuesday like every other fucking video game?
why is there ufo wreckage in this truck? who sent it? who's getting it?
nauta confirming on twitter you can set a line in the ini file for games to either make all your recruits purely random, draw purely from your character pool (defaults to random once it's gone through the whole pool), or a mix of both (default setting)
>doesnt have a job to worry about
>calls people niggers
>wanting a release on one of the two days a week you can not worry about work the day after means you're memeing
>somehow expects us to believe you're not a neckbearded neet fuck
Not that guy but c'mon
>250 hours of EW in my native language
>No bugs at all
>Switch to english because of memes
>Countless game ruining bugs in the first 20 hours
it's what you deserve for wanting to be part of the meme culture
I was wondering about that. It does make me sad though. Now that I know I can pull purely from the character pool I will have to spend my first two days with the game doing nothing but filling out the character pool.
Pretty Brotherhood of Nod right there.
Actually, now that I think about it, Tiberian Dawn mod when?
How did I never notice the EU Ethereal here? I didn't think they'd be so... public.
Thats bullshit, it should release on release day what the fuck.
Yeah it reminds me of Revolution and Falling Skies. Both start really strong and good but then they turn. Falling Skies at least made it through the first season before turning terrible.
Approximately 100 hours to go depending on timezone
>Muton / Floater talk last thread.
Uber ethereal quotes
The new one faces a great foe, and an equally great… disappointment. When their organic form failed to evolve… it was given the strength of a machine, creating this… merciless, fearless, killer… A fate worse than death.
Now… The New One confronts a greater threat - a rare strength, found in an easily controlled breed. And yet, they are incapable of brilliance, of independence… they will never be more than primitive warriors… serving only to fight, and die, as did those who came before them.
>When their organic form failed to evolve
It sounds like floaters were the mutons whose bodies couldn't adapt to the ayy genemods.
It would also give a more practical reason for the ayy to make the new floaters in the rough shape of humans rather than just for muh PR.
>And yet, they are incapable of brilliance, of independence
This seems at odds with what we know of mutons in general since they are at least on par with your soldiers in both bureau and XCOM , but it could be that they simply take orders from whoever they see as top dog and hierarchy amongst them is based on who can kick the most ass.
It would handily explain why they work for the zudjari in the bureau, since all it would take would be a show of force from mosaic and they'd go along willingly, while also explaining how the ethereals so easily brought them under control.
Not exactly. Beyond Earth had a staggered release.
armor (and dodge in 2) seem like better mechanics for making enemies tougher rather than giving them arbitrary defense boosts thus putting more emphasis on the binary hit/miss. why didn't LW put more DR on enemies instead of defense boosts?
>And on that note, what do you think of Tiberium Essence?
It has its moments, but I didn't like the general idea of it being Tiberian Sun HD. If I wanted to play TS, I'd play TS.
XCOM 2 from CDKeys or GMG?
CDKeys so far seems legit and is around 35$
GMG has that 27% coupon but i am not sure how much that shit translates to.
>That is, the SMG falls in between an Assault Rifle and a Shotgun in terms of the to-hit bonus/penalty granted based on range.
>At short range, an SMG gets better to-hit bonuses (up to +27) than an Assault Rifle (up to +20), but worse than a Shotgun (up to +40).
>At long range, an SMG has to-hit penalties (down to -8) that are worse than the Assault Rifle's (0), but not as penalizing as the Shotgun's to-hit modifiers (down to -30).
More information about the Long War SMG mod.
To be fair, they and the thin men are the most appealing looking of the ay, so it makes sense for one to be present in order to put the populace at ease with the idea of multiple xeno that look different, not to mention establishing their view in the public eye as behind the scenes 'advisors' by having the thinman take the lead position.
CDKeys is far sketchier and you probably won't get keys until release day but it's obviously cheaper.
GMG is far more legit since they're directly partnered with 2K and the chance of getting keys a few days early for preload are very high. The 27% off deal puts the base game at about $45 and the DD at $55, roughly.
I'm going to make sure every single one of my mother fuckers is an expert at melee combat. That fucking swing is too goddamn epic to give up.
THERES FUCKING VIDEOS OF SLICING A LIGHTPOLE IN HALF WHILE CHUNKING THROUGH A SECTOID
>And yet, they are incapable of brilliance, of independence… they will never be more than primitive warriors
You know that doesn't mean they are stupid. Given what their goals were brilliance almost certainly means psionic potential rather than actual intelligence. They would probably consider a Predator nothing but a primitive warrior too despite being a race capable of space-flight.
I'm just gonna watch it on youtube and then come back here. I probably won't be able to resist coming here for a full week and i'd rather see it on youtube then from some fag on here who spoils it.
>oh sure whatever this'll be fine
>every fucking pod is a cyberdisc
>except for two crhyssalids that stayed on the far side of the map breeding with the civies
>the first one ran away, then I killed two, figuring I got it after it repaired
>turned out to be five of the fuckers
God fuckin damnit. This isn't Long War.
That was earlier in the month. Full game review code went out about a week ago.
>come up on pod on 6 seekers
>5 go into stealth
>put 5 guys into overwatch
>they all overkill the first one to decloak
>the other four decloak and start up their buttfucking everyone
Those where preview builds that where giving to streamers and youtubers to promote the game.
Review copies are giving to news sites and youtube reviewers so that they can create game reviews.
In which anon finds out he can't draw horses
Reminder that if you Genetically Modify or MEC Enhance your troops, you aren't qualified to save Humanity - You already lost it before the war even started.
>Implying that MEChanization and genemodding aren't the next step of human evolution that our society shortcircuited.
Considering that both previously known Psi-enhancing pieces of equipment are things that are worn, not wielded, yeah.
Looking at the quotes it seems like "brilliance" and "the gift" are interchangeable. They explicitly mention intelligence in the thin mint dialogue but only refer to the sectoids psi abilities as a "certain brilliance".
>The New One faces the earliest effort of the Ethereal Ones, the first… failure. Though possessed of a certain… brilliance… they are marred by their cowardice and frailty… which made them cruel… and ultimately useless.
They are doing a call back to the original x-coms in which you held the psi amp, so I know what they are going for, but it just doesn't look good.
The old games didn't have to worry about animations or too much about how the sprites work, it just doesn't translate well to x2.
You won - But at what cost?
Can't you see what the enemy has become?
Those mangled abominations, those bionic robots, twisted hulks of flesh and metal - can we still call that life?
Look at the enemy, Anon. If that's our future, I want no part of it.
The meat-thereals sort of give me the impression that they're some sorta 'above it all' dealio, whereupon their methods are beyond reproach because of their goal.
Their goal involved pushing humankind and providing them the tools to produce the Volunteer. Then the Volunteer styled all over 'em with their 3-5 backup dancers.
In XCOM 2 however, humankind either didn't get that far, or made the Volunteer then said Volunteer got killed. The Ethereals probably would've taken humankind to be another failure, just taken the fuck over the planet and gone off to find another race to fuck with.
Question IS, what their goal was.
>Health Bonus: 0
>MEC Troopers wear their cybernetic base augments when not in combat
>The arms and legs lack the flexibility for use in the field; hence their removal when the MEC Trooper interfaces with a MEC cybersuit
>Ideally, they will permit MEC Troopers to resume normal lives should XCOM defeat the invaders
They knew what they signed up for, and we've done all we can to let them live their lives normally once they're no longer needed.
Ideally it would just be a gauntlet with two extendable prongs to create the psi-orb from which the Psi-Ops uses to amp their powers up. The tech level of the Psi-Amp should have made it smaller and smaller until it was just a gauntlet. Starting with the huge unwieldy Psi-Amp then moving to something pistol sized and finally the gauntlet.
Whilst we're at it we should abandon medicine because it prolongs our lifespan unnaturally, and abandon agriculture because it provides us with more food than nature intended, and why not just abandon instrumentality altogether and go back to picking berries off bushes.
I don't think the Ethereals consider humans a failure. Otherwise the Avatar project wouldn't be a thing. It's just that instead of them seeing the Volunteer and finding out human potential fast they had to go the long way around which is finally coming to a head 20 years after.
Definitely got into the series because it feels like the premise is the ADVENT:Rises from XCOM2 taking us from 2015 to 2035
I have the same feeling, and from the second episode it was the buddy cop, the over acting of suspicion, and the poor stunt work.
Don't bother trying to convince him.
Some people will do anything to remain in their black-and-white pretend world of moral absolutes.
Shit, this might very well be the most fedora post I have ever typed.
Well, the initial 'push 'em until it works' plan being a failure.
Once that fails they just sorta sigh and get onto fucking with them directly like all the other races.
Also a related question. Cyberdiscs. They mention that they were two creatures combined together. So what the fuck were they?
>They knew what they signed up for, and we've done all we can to let them live their lives normally once they're no longer needed.
You are retarded if you think they are ever living a normal life or will ever be allowed off-base/a government lab. That goes double for the gene-modded soldiers and 90 times harder for the psi soldiers. Every country is going to want to use them for their own goals and nobody is going to let them be used.
The fact that psionic soldiers exist would make every government shit a massive brick and cause near infinite amounts of paranoia. Because now there are people on the planet who can for a fact control minds and do all kinds of psychic shit that they can't even comprehend.
It would have been cooler if it was just a collar flamed slightly purple. More powerful the rank/ability the larger the flame.
It'd be cool right.
XCOM might be the baddies
Yes, thank you for reminding me. Off to do some real work now while you tinker with your toys.
The drones are just robots. Uber says...
"Another attempt, this one inspired. Two subjects, each with a glaring weakness – brought together in the hopes of a symbiotic strength. And yet, this newfound power left them devoid of higher thought. Lacking in comprehension. Another… useless effort."
'newfound power left them devoid of higher thought' implies they HAD higher thought, then lost it. Also, killing either has no effect on the other.
Dude, there's no fucking secret anymore by the end of XCOM. Aliens exist, the whole world knows, and it's too far gone for XCOM to supress it like they did in the 60s. Even after winning the world would be a massively changed place.
Shen's all for MEC which makes you both wrong. The Ying Yang side to their relationship has to do with machinery tech vs. bio-tech, not morality.
And Bradford is here to punch some faces in using both
well-writtencharacter bios for an /xcg/ character pool.
One from earlier:
>Jedediah McKinnly still remembers the day he woke up to find an alien battleship hovering over his small Pennsylvania farm. His Amish community gathered in prayer against the "demons", but they couldn't stop what was to come. After the ADVENT Coalition was formed, his land was repossessed and Amish practices and philosophies as a whole were "discouraged." While his family was quick to roll over and accept the new order for the sake of stability, Jedediah refused to compromise. He joined an "off-the-grid" settlement the moment the opportunity presented itself, taking with him nothing but the clothes on his back and his trusty bible. When XCOM presented the opportunity to fight back against the demons that had stolen the prospect of a simple, virtuous life away from him, he was more than willing to help.
>need materials to further my research
>don't feel like grinding endlessly and progressing to sectopods and shit wit plasma rifles and titan armor but no ghost, archangel, or plasma special weapons
>go do the ayy base raid
>game crashes because its "out of video memory"
They seriously didn't fix that from EU?
No your not. That's because there was a better version and its right here:
I guess your just going to ignore base defense and xcom2 huh?
Its more about his attitude anyway
>take out pistol
>kill no one because it's ballistic instead of the dope weapons they have
>almost everyone in the hologlobe dies
>Shen and Vahlen along with the engineering and research teams unscathed, proving they can stand their ground
but they don't have the attitude
Yeah, when i said "x-coms" I just meant the fact that they are hand held almost like normal weapons, not specifically how they looked.
The apoc psi-amp "mind bender" is smaller but just looks so bizarre. Not like the other is much better, I have no idea why it has that purple fluid in it.
Mini-void portal probably. I do like the way the new amps act as a lighting source over the shoulders of the respective soldiers. Also since I'm constantly looking over their shoulders it's distinctive that I instantly know that it's not my specialist or ranger that I'm looking at. Heck it's nice they all have their own visual profiles in some way.
>"pistols are useless" memery
pistols/handguns are useful is an infinitely superior and quality meme
Yep, and that's why it should stay right on their back where it belongs.
Chryssalid Cocoon's have 1 point of armor and give birth to 3 fully developed Chryssalids
The government wouldn't sterilize them after war. They need them to finally make alien-human hybrids
>genetic modification isn't hereditary
What the fuck? They're genes. That's the point.
If anything, altering genes would produce results ONLY in the offspring since the soldiers are already fully grown.
gene modding in xcom is altering the somatic cells to produce a new effect or putting in something new. Genetic information you pass on to your offspring is part of the germline, gametes that are made when you are still in the womb.
A large amount of the genemods are actually surgical in nature. Plus, even if it did pass on, then it'd be highly likely to miscarriage the baby or just end up as a horrifying mutant due to the genes being designed to grow to maturity in like, 10 days or some shit rather than over a proper development cycle.
Not to mention, a child is a mix of genes, so who's to say that 'has two hearts' will actually get passed on?
Even if both parents were soldiers modded in the same way, the female one would still have non-genemodded eggs so it'd be the same as if she were unmodded.
Seriously, they are poor video edits.
You can take Gamespot's XCOM2 Brutal Kills and sync up the song and it feels better because the visual tempo is 4/4. Marching : On-beat, Shooting : On-beat, Killing : On-beat. There's only one moment that those abominations even approach something worthwhile and that's because they have the Michael Bay explosion added into the mix.
"Genetic Modification" is such a massive blanket term, it's hard to really deduce anything solid from it.
But, by looking at what the "modifications" physically do, we could reasonably assume that the ones where new parts are implanted/force-grown (definitely Second Heart, probably Mimetic Skin, possibly others) are likely non-hereditiary, whereas the other, "simpler" ones like the eye mods might be, depending on how much, if at all, the change in those organs' local DNA is (comprehensibly) reflected in the half-strand DNA used in reproduction.
The main aspect of the genetic modification isn't the actual implantation of the abilities but the acclimation of the body to prevent the reject of the Meld substances which powers the surgical implants. This is the reason why soldiers are encased inside of full body surgical tubes and have multiple injection points.
The rejection of alien technology from such invasive implants would be a tragic and detrimental downside for both life expectancy and to combat effectiveness.
How such effects would affect sexual or reproductive activities would be unknown.
So am I going to have to avoid /xcg/ come tomorrow, and then continue to ignore you guys until I finish the campaign?
Feels bad man.
i know you ADVENT spoiler scum lurk amongst us
My dream mod would be a very
longone where it starts off with the Bureau's story, then progresses to EU/EW. After destroying the temple ship, the ayys show up with their full army and the story goes to XCOM 2's.
>give soldiers Eggsalt attire
>add black/white filter toggle
>Chinatown/Mad Men/Godfather music
>shitty one liners from Sin City
>reskin laser rifle to laser Tommy gun
>depending on how much, if at all, the change in those organs' local DNA is (comprehensibly) reflected in the half-strand DNA used in reproduction.
The DNA used in sexual reproduction has nothing to do with the DNA in the rest of your body, besides that in early development they are identical. God damn, is all people learned in highschool bio that the Mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell?
You don't want to hang around for fun times? Sounds like a secretive somebody
Machinima probably before full mod
> (Grey Filter Intro, Cue Music) On a rainy night like this, she would slither into my office. A snek only slides on way into a dress like that, with murder on her mind.
Neat. Should brainstorm a bit so I can submit the idea to that one guy on
plebbitwho is collecting ideas.
So Act I = Bureau. Not much to change, except of course flesh out the classes a bit more.
Act II = EU/EW. Again, not much to change either. Perhaps part of the new mechanic would be to figure out what has been redacted, and doing so would give you research credit or even some old toys to fuck the ayys with. Lightning gun was a fucking masterpiece in the Bureau.
Act III = XCOM 2. XCOM gets fucked but Commander is back for round 2. Once again, have to start from scratch but you can explore and uncover old XCOM bases like they do in the novel. Perhaps even old shit from the Bureau's time period would still be useful in desperate times. Find a Venn Gate? Well hello Zudjari. Find some ex-EXALT? Try to persuade a few to fight for you in their classy clothes.
>watching NL's finale of his first Classic run
>doesn't know how to use archangel armor
>has laser pistols
>stands out in no cover
>makes horrible moving decisions
>blocks pathways with a soldier
Holy shit, I love this guy's commentary but how does someone play a game this much without knowing that basic stuff like stabilizing units?
I think the only reason he made it this far is because Zhang, Humanity's Saviour, and Loki are carrying his run out.
I find placing the barrel of my gun against their
CLOACAis far more effective
yes, I feel ashamed now, but I slip into a sea of anonymity, free of all social obligations of embarrassment
Would a Child Soldier mod fly on Workshop, or would I have to put that shit on Nexus?
What if eventually an online multiplayer Squad vs Squad mode came out?
It could be a 1v1 matchup of Squads being 5-on-5 or 10-on-10, or could even have 10 players together in Squads of 2 or even a FFA.
>2 HP squad member
>in full cover
>not breaking LOS
sneks are pretty qt3.14 desu senpai
Complete fucking noob here.
How will I be able to "work on mods"? Will there be some kind of mod editor once X-Com 2 is released - or is it some kind of stand alone application?
And I guess modding means its just a giant community of people sharing shit left and right?
They're release the source development kit, meaning you'll have the same tools for making content that they do (minus licensed software like their 3D modeler and animations but you can get those for free)
There will be an SDK (like Civ V) released on day one. They said we have access to all 50 GB (I think) of assets used to make the game. It'll be a separate 50 GB download iirc.
>4 on 4
>each player controls a pod of 2-3
>can choose to start concealed or not
>concealed units can't be seen until revealed but have lower movement
>unconcealed pods get a free move upon tripping an enemy pod
cud b gud
It's actually irrelevant whether he moved or not. It was the sectoids first action and if he had moved the sectoid would have merely killed someone else after moving.
It was a six health crit. Someone was going to die regardless.
You can't argue that way. You don't know the outcome beforehand and had he moved the very same outcome could have occurred. In fact we have to consider this from the point that it WOULD have happened because we don't know anything other than the fact he the next action was a crit.
Which means that it doesn't matter what he did because the next hit was going to kill someone. It doesn't matter if moving MAY have changed the outcome because no outcome is known other than what transpired. So unless he was able to get everyone out of the LOS which was impossible then there was nothing he could do to save the life of whichever soldier the sectoid shot at.
I gotta say...
I really hope we get more DJ and Stheno once XCOM 2 hits.
I'm just here in my hanger, with my brand new Skyranger.
But you know what I like MORE than my Skyranger?
That's why I have these one thousand laboratories, I build one lab a day.
The only LOS for that map is on approach from the sides or when the door is closed. That provides full cover and close distance.
Other approaches on that map do not have good LOS options. With squaddies or rookies you need to hunker the front lines with an approach or retreat to bait out enemies into Overwatch traps.
Ahhh, I miss those two.
for anyone that missed out, start with this image and then read these:
Bad copy, over. It's 9 hours and a half hours. Get rid of time zones along with the air game.
I've never liked free for all because free for all just means allies until the last two stand, but I suppose some enjoy being bullied.
I do like multiple team versus multiple team but I also prefer more unique co-op like experiences. For example two people controlling one squad, or two people controlling one squad one controls movement and the other abilities and shooting. Or one controls the squad and the other is more of a support sending in air strikes or controlling robots or providing Intel.
what if they mixed up the pve and pvp elements together?
you can have squad vs squad or FFAs if you want,
BUT WITH FUCKING SECTOIDS AND FACELESS GUYS ALL OVER YOU TOO!
Man this game has so much potential.... online gameplay would literally make this game explode
>online gameplay has even better, more futuristic weapons and mech shit
>when a member of your squad dies in this pve/pvp match, and you cant get the loot the gear back, its gone forever
would BTFO diablo thats for sure
>agonizingly long download
>preload finally complete
>months of waiting and the final week over
>finally game comes out
>unbearable wait as the game unpacks
>necessary installation 99%
>game boots up and logos appear
crash to desktop
I'm fond of the idea of adding Co-Op to the campaign as mercenary jobs. You have three missions that need to be done but only have time for two of them. Put up some supplies and intel as a reward and have someone else do the mission. If they succeed then you get whatever rewards the mission gave minus what you put up. If they fail then you keep your intel and supplies and can request the help of someone else.
Bonus points if you get to spectate them doing the mission and interact with them. I would love to hire someone out to do a hard mission with a high reward, and then spend the entire time questioning them, calling them a shitter and laughing at them when they lose a guy.
There is no need to be upset.
Judging from what we've seen in videos this is somewhat unnecessary because you can apparently manage multiple character pools that can be disabled and enabled separately.
When do GMG codes get delivered and how? Via email or on the GMG thing?
Masturbate furiously while thinking about Jake Solomon soothing voice narrating your masturbation session. Then on release day you release your "hot load" and start killing aliens and don't stop until you dead.
>HD dolphin porn
Well, this is an Angolan delphinophile forum, after all.
>forcing myself to leave this place for a week
>when I've been browsing this place daily since b14
XCOM 2 is soon fellas. The final week begins. Stay safe and see you all on release day
50 turns and 107 X-rays killed? What the fuck.
FACELESS DONT SURF MOTHEFUCKA
Also for those wondering - VietCOM hasnt been uploaded to YT yet because I'm avoiding modded stuff until game release, so it'll publish on that day
That's also the day we'll start doing modded shit again
>mfw my Impossible-Ironman run ended with my entire squad dying to get the Chosen One to the end
I wonder if they thought it was all in vain as they each started to die. I wonder if Major Meer appreciated the sacrifices her friends made.
oh fuck beagle you maniac
Fucking kill me. This is going to be the longest week of my life.
Not yet, I haven't played with the modding since then.
Gonna try to unleash like as much of my vanilla Legendary campaign as I can once the embargo drops. Might only have one or two vids for you guys tonight with all the streaming and shit, but throughout the week I'm hoping to do lots and lots per day so you can see the full campaign nd its conclusion before the 22nd of Feb or so. I hope.
As long as you guys can watch like three or four vids a day
>As long as you guys can watch like three or four vids a day
Some AI is smart, some AI is dumb. One trooper will pull a tactical genius move, another will bend over for rookie bullets. They seem fairly individual.
If you did classic EW you can probably handle Legendary. If you did Impossible you can DEFINITELY handle Legendary. If you did Long War at anything but the easiest level you can probably handle Legendary. Basically if you're not shit, try Legendary.
Keep mind Grenadiers, Gunslingers and Phantoms are the big three strong things to have though. I did like a three Grenadier campaign and let me tell you, it was absoloutely disgusting.
and that's before i found out xcom 2 still has BEEP BEEP BEEPs
dis new shit. i did an entire campaign for ya'll.
>As long as you guys can watch like three or four vids a day
>I did an entire campaign for ya'll
Yes you selfless man. You played through an entire campaign of XCOM 2 for our sake. If only everyone else had your selfless nature the world would be a better place.
Their own game isn't making great progress from what I heard.
...Can you just cheese the defense mission and keep killing air-dropping enemies to grind soldiers?
>It's Newfoundland all over again.
By the way bagel, is "box strat" still a thing in x2?
Gotta get that meld lads
Many people inspired to run Legendary
Mmany will die
on their first retaliation mission, but howmany will continue
>will be in class for 5 hours after the embargo breaks
It's great for hype, but to anyone that didn't know what XCOM was, this is too many different cuts of something they couldn't make heads or tails of.
>That grandma look of "That's nice, hun" from the eyes of your best buddy.
Plane Terror Mission Mod WHEN?!
Don't, you'll have the same exact experience if you play it on an off-day or after work but without the guilt or the "I just got ebola and I got one less work day" comeuppance to bite you in the ass.
A well-run place of employment can do without one employee for one day. Call in sick or if you think you have a chance of getting the time off, ask for that.
Taking time for things we look forward to is critical for enjoying life.
Yup, same here. Did the same thing with /mgg/ and MGSV. Going to avoid spoilers like the plague. Too bad somebody spoiled the ending more than a week in advance.
I'm calling it now: The aliens' big plan is to steal our bodies using permanent mind control and transplanting their psionic consciousness into us.
Screenshot this shit if you have to.
>I'm calling it now: The aliens' big plan is to steal our bodies using permanent mind control and transplanting their psionic consciousness into us.
I'm not even sure why you bothered to spoil what we knew since EU.
Here you go /xcg/, I can't draw legs for shit.
Thanks anons. I actually work from home via a web-based system that logs my time regardless of when I work, so they literally /wouldn't/ notice if I was gone (heck, I've had Bagel's streams running on my other monitor while I work for the last few weeks). I think I'm going to compromise by putting nose to grindstone this week so I only have to do a few hours on Friday and then I can remove ayy lmao guilt-free.
"Join Us or Become Them" as a tagline and all of EU's final mission didn't spell that out for you already?
Every other faggot feels the need to point out SOYLENT GREEN IS PEOPLE will be a plot element when we've known that since 1994, I don't see you jumping their ass when they post that.
Because they aren't touting it like it's some amazing and mindblowing spoiler. They are pointing it out while you are treating the most obvious shit as if it's some super secret plot thread that you figured out after hours of research.
