If you play solo, you are the only constant. Sometimes you get carried, sometimes the enemy team has somebody that carries, in the end it all evens out and you can only climb to where your skill level is. However, if you dynamic (even just duo) you are no longer the constant, your team is. There's no reason to expect that somebody who achieves a high ranking from dynamic would have equivalent skill to somebody who only does solo.

For example, person A is a support main. He soloqs exclusively and after a lot of work makes it to master 0lp. Person B is also a support main, but he only plays in a triple queue with his friends who main jungle and adc, and they are always on voice together communicating and are well co-ordinated, and Person B also hits master.

These two players have the same ranking and ~mmr, but you can expect that if person B had to play as a solo, he would do significantly worse than person A does solo. Of course, you could also say that if person A was in a triple he would perform differently, but everybody agrees that playing support on voice with jg/adc is only a good thing, so you would actually expect him to do better than person B does in a team. Now we have two players, one of which is significantly stronger in every area, but they are rated the same

And the constant flow of perfectly balanced assassins mid that turn the lane into an arms race where unless you have infinite mobility, waveclear, and mana (or just be manaless :^) ) you literally can't play midlane anymore, so it's relegated to zed and leblanc, and whoever can actually deal with those two at any point in time

yea viktor is great, despite the early-game nerfs to his hex core his damage is pretty huge at all stages, he's pretty short range though so you have to be pretty confident in dodging skills to play him at his maximum, you can play him solely backline by just waiting for the fight to start and kiting with W's and Q's and throwing out your E and R when you can deal the most damage with them, you can also siege pretty well with the range on his E but there are better champs for this, viktor is a hybrid assassin/kite mage you can do both well and its up to you to decide when it's better to do one or the other, mechanically the only really tricky thing about his kit is learning how to work his E, but you get that down pretty clean after 10 or so games

If you're a support Zilean, you probably know how to land your stuns. Practice CSing with Zilean's autos (his animations got improved but it's still harder than most champs), then enjoy your LODS OF EMONE.

I don't really know how to feel about dynamic queue to be honest. On one end it's great because it strengthens the focus on team coordination which is kind of important in you know, an objective focused team game. On another, getting people together can be kind of tedious at times, and the trial and error that naturally comes with trying to find the right team members. Might as well just play ranked 5s at that point.
