Guys iam trying to balance retinues for my mod in ck2. Now everyone gets retinue points from buildings(that way lords with high and developed demense can field better larger retinues even if they are just a duke or even count, while weak king with small shitty demense can go fuck himself) I also made retinues smaller, 20-50 men. Now the quest is how can i limit barons and other shit vassals from making their useless retinues? I want only counts and above to be able to make them. Please help

So I am playing as Jianzhou and hold many Korean provinces. The Japanese are at war with me with their initial war goal of conquering Jeju Island being achieved very early in the war. Now all they do is blockade me. This has gone on for four years now and even when I offer the Japanese the rest of my Korean terrirtories (I never really wanted Korea in the first place) they refuse unless I give them one of my home provinces in Manchuria. This is infuriating and ruining this play through. Why is the AI being so fucking unreasonable?

Burocrats until 100% admin efficency in all provinces, at least where you have a good amount of primary/accepted pops. Then Intellectuals until 4% (if shitty literacy, aka everyone except the UK).

Then it's up to what country you are playing: soldiers, craftsmen, party loyalty.

General consensus is 4 inf 4 art 1 eng 1 hus for armies. Mobilized infantry is not as good.

For navies, spam transports for troops and frigates until you get better tech for ships.

3. How do I industrialize, just use 'encourage capitalists' national focus?

The encourage capitalists is just a meme. Literacy and tech boosts will help you with that. Again, it depends on the country. Try to get a party with State Capitalism in power, then start building industries in your most populated states taking advantage of the resources in said state. If you are lacking basic resources such as coal, iron, sulphur and so, you will need to sphere or blob countries that produces them.

Remember that prestige dictates the order in which goods are sold and bought in the world market, so if you need access to more resources that are being produced by other countries, you may want to prestige whore along with the spheres tactic.
